If you seen too many horror movies, Dead Space isn't at all scary. If you're a fan of the genre, you will still get some good laughs before dropping the game if you're an idiot that cannot figure out what to do next.... like me. Never played Limbo. Personally, I would pick Limbo just because of my experience with Dead Space. It wasn't a BAD experience, but I am kinda picky and nit pick with everything.

I love the Dead Space series, only lack the mobile game at this point (no compatible device). I say give that a try.

Steam says I logged 4.8 hours in game. However, that includes my replaying some of the levels to find the hidden items. I cheated though and used guides on where to find them. Some are very well hidden and I just didn't have the patience to find them myself. I just wanted the achievements. So maybe if you search for them on your own or if you want to get the achievement for completing the game in one sitting with 5 or less deaths, it'll take longer.

Limbo IMO is a story not a game. Because the control is basic and simple, the process is very linear. What you can do is only what you are allowed to do and it is the only way that you can push forward. However consider it as a story, it is awesome. It has unique art style, great atmosphere, and a story that makes plenty space for you to think of. Dead space is a good game as well. That depends on which way you like, more action or story telling.

Dead Space all the way man. Its not scary if u r used to scary stuff but there are some jump-scare moments that did get me. AND if u are gonna play DS 2, u will be really glad that u played the 1st one.
Get DS!

If you're OK with Origin I can give you a free copy of Dead Space :) Then you're free to buy Limbo!
Both are great so this way you can play both!
This is only for OP, I don't want everyone reading this to add me...

Limbo is a very short game. It'll only take a few hours to beat.

Worth playing though, even more so that you can get it quite cheap on trading forums due to it's bundle appearances.

Limbo is quite simply one of the best (puzzle) platformers in recent times. It's terribly polished, the puzzles consistently hit an almost perfect balance between cleverness and difficutly, and it's food for thought.
It's also quite short, if you don't go completist on it, you can beat it in less than 4 hours.

Unless the indie game in question is Cave Story, there are few circumstances in which you should go with an indie game over a great AAA game.

Both are very atmospheric, but if you aren't that into horror, get LIMBO. If you aren't that into puzzles, get Dead Space. If you don't like either, get Fortix, as it is the best game on steam.
(Also, why didn't you just get the Humble Origin Bundle and the Humble Bundle 9 not too long ago?)
