I said non, the one you gave to me mostly are steam games.

Yeah, but I've tried it. And it's not really appealing to me. :(

Paladins looks cool :D
TF2 is a steam game though, and class based shooter is not my strongest suit :(

I've played World of Tanks, should've mentioned that too :D
I don't really like mmorpg though, it's too grinding. :(

Most of the NCSoft games don't come to Steam, only Guild Wars is atm.
Lineage 2 has been on Steam at some point, but got removed rather soon after its release.

Don't you know? Wildstar is now on steam!! :D
I've tried it, it's pretty fun.
MMORPGs is pretty grinding though, so I don't think I'm gonna try Lineage 2

There are a number of mobile games that might qualify. For instance, there are lots of micro-transactiony war games. If, like me, you strongly dislike those, there are also a number of pretty good app versions of board games.
(Speaking of which, you didn't technically say that you were looking for computer games. So yes, I know of a ton. :) )

Dammit, I should've specify that I'm looking for pc games..

Sorry, I didn't mean to be unhelpful (although the board game bit was a joke).
Have you seen what's available DRM-free through GOG? I'm not too familiar with their catalogue. But they do have the first multiplayer thing I thought to check, 'Terraria'.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks, but I see that some of the games are steam games.
Are you sure it can be played outside steam?
Comment has been collapsed.
I know that GOG is not selling Steam games. If you see them there then they are DRM free, and can be run without a Steam client. That's GOG's whole business model: they only sell DRM free software.
I don't know how the multiplayer servers work for all those, though. The only one I've tried is Terraria, for which the multiplayer is peer-to-peer. It doesn't require Steam or anything else (though you may need to mess with your router a little).

It's not really that crowded anymore :(
At least in my country's server
I used play it back on mid 2000s
Uther Party, Wilderness Survival, Mafia, Jungle Trolls Reborn, Troll and Elves, Vampirism, Footmen Frenzy, man I can list all of the maps I used to have.

So many games, much wow.
Most of those are real links right?

The Endless Forest looks odd, I wonder if the game have any goals.
Ultima online, hmm, again, I don't really like mmorpg

Not sure what your intent of the question is but I think Transformice counts.
It now has a Steam version too but there's no difference and it's originally a flash game.

I've played it, but I keep failing at the wall jumping X_X
Never tried it again since.

I started to think most of the non client games are mmorpgs

Is, by any chance, this: http://clb.heroes-online.com/en-US to your liking? I've played once, a long long time ago, but in this galaxy, not one far far away 8)

Is it still playable, because according to wikipedia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heroes_of_Might_and_Magic_Online ) the official server went down several years ago.

It seems to be online, I can't test it cause I'm at work, but they say something about maintenance on June 3rd, 2016.
Edit: Also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Might_and_Magic:_Heroes_Online , I quote: "Might and Magic: Heroes Online - Not to be confused with Heroes of Might and Magic Online."

My bad, the name is too similar that even google search got confused XD

I've tried maplestory in my own country's server, too bad the community is almost as toxic as dota 2's community.

I played the old version (end of 90's), it was surprisingly fun, even better in team (with special bricks, you get powers to help yourself or a teammate, or to mess with an opponent's game). Never tried the newer one, but I probably should ! who said backlog ?

Not all non client games use those..

Some games like Minecraft, League of Legends, SAS 4, Pokemon TCG, Contract Wars, Freefall Tournament, PokeMMO, etc.
It doesn't have to be popular, because I know some of the games that I've mentioned are not even known by you.
