Congrats on your first train!
I really like a mix of heavy metal and classical - Metallica S&M is a fantastic album - so I'll check out the band you mentioned. As far as bands I like that aren't well (enough) known, I'd recommend Nothing More and Bad Religion.

Don't know if you'll like this, I apologize in advance if not.
Pikkardiyska Tertsiya, a cappella vocal group. Despite the fact that they toured around the world and won many awards, not sure that they are known to the general public. Some examples of their performances: Hej sokoly (probably you heard this song), and probably the most famous song in their performance Plyve kacha (I'm sorry for gloomy video, but this song is really associated with the tragic events in our country).
And one artist from the past - Kvitka Cisyk (formally she was an American, but of Ukrainian origin) and her performance of famous Ukrainian folk song.

I know Jelonek! I like his Steppe.
I can recommend music from New Zealand: Salmonella Dub.

So yeah, this is my first train
Ticket
Good Luck :)
And to serve some other purpose, besides taking me to lvl 5 let's have some music-recommedantion thread
I want some new sounds in my life!
There's a lot of music/bands/artist that never break to international audience so let's change that.
If you know music from your country worth listening but you feel like it never get enough attention worldwide - post it right here with short description.
And to begin, here's something from Poland. I was thinking a lot about this and finally managed to pick one thing so...
Jelonek - amazing combination of calssical music and heavy metal. Mix of guitars and violin, sounds extremely catchy, surprising and fun. If you're not some radical thinking that classical music should always be performed classicly give it a chance. You won't regret that ;) Also i think these guys definitely deserve some praise. Plus they sound great live and gave me one of the best concerts in my life ;)
Here's a little sample for you:
ViolMachine
Romantic Revenge
William Tell Overture(Live Version)
Surprise ;)
So show me what you got and I hope you enjoy my stuff during train ride :D
Good Luck!
