If a thread has been sitting around for a week or more and no one has posted in it, you probably shouldn't bump it unless you have something to say. Even then, it might get closed, but that will probably be the end of it. Bumping an old thread without adding anything to it, like posting '+1,' ':),' 'this,' 'thanks for Skyrim,' or other sorts of things that don't have any real content, might get you a short suspension for spam. Bumping an old thread by insulting, attacking, or generally being rude or hateful toward another user, will get you a considerably longer suspension. Apart from these guidelines, it's not something to worry about. Thanks for asking!
