Yep. I was lucky and had a tab from as soon as it went up. Grabbed it at 6.01 after I saw it shot up to 8 something immediately.

Almost the entire bundle is available on GOG. i wouldn't be surprised if these get added to GOG Connect at some point down the line. GOG wouldn't really loose much sale potential as the majority of their existing userbase will already have them whilst new users wouldn't have been there beforehand anyway.

Gabriel Knight series are among my favourite games of all time (and The Beast Within is simply the solo favourite one); I've never been a fan of Quest for Glory games, but they are far from garbage. But I agree about tier 3, especially considering the fact that the games from Kings Quest Collection are presumably incompatible with modern systems.

They use Dosbox, so you don't need to worry too much about it. They will work, it just seems like the steam versions were configured by a bunch of monkeys, so you might need to change some things in the config files.

Epic trolling. They put the older of those games to Steam this week, and one of those was a removed game collectible item. This bundle is just one colossal middle finger for those who bought those games yesterday and to Valve as now they will most likely have to take quite a few refunds as people buy the bundle instead.

Doesn't really matter if people bought the games yesterday because as you mentioned; refunds. Most of these were already available elsewhere so it's likely that anyone that did buy them didn't rush to instantly play them.

I fear it may be a little more complex. The amount of people who don't even know that other platforms exist apart from Steam on PC is staggering. Some may know about Uplay and Origin—and often through Steam—but you'd be surprised how many Steam users don't know that dozens of stores sell Steam keys cheaper than most ROW Steam regions or that other platforms sell games outside Steam on PC. My favourite ones are the posts on some games asking when will it go on sale and people being surprised when I link them a store where the game is currently on sale. :) (It's especially funny on New Vegas, which has been on a permanent 67% sale on Games Planet since last Christmas, yet people still asking for a sale date.)

Ok i decided not to buy it - but this are very good classic games. But dont like to buy bundles for so much. And now T2 it is even more then this 6$, and it is easy decision then ;). Will think about T1 later:) - no rush for T1.
