most people only win a few times with 2,000 entries... he won 102 times. that is pretty lucky... I've seen it before though. I am almost at 300 entries with only 1 win.

Most people only win a few times with 2,000 entries because they mainly join AAA giveaways with lots of entries, thus their win chance lowers. Luck is not based on how many games you won, it's just the difference between wins and estimated wins (the higher it is this difference, the more you are lucky, and vice versa). If he had 300 estimated wins instead of 99, for example, I would have said unlucky.

Pretty much what marvin said. The estimated wins feature takes into account the number of people in your average giveaway — having a high estimated win means the user generally enters giveaways with very low number of entries (usually private and group giveaways). Solely using wins per entries to determine luckiness would likely be very inaccurate.

I find that to be a pretty bad opinion. If I win games I want, I consider myself lucky.
Don't get me wrong, I see what you're saying. I'm just saying "glass half full" and such.

Sure, the word 'lucky' is pretty subjective, and can mean very different things to different people, so feel free to believe what you want :> That being said, my comment was a statistical analysis to what it means to be statistically lucky — which is a mathematical quotient, and a completely objective value. It may or may not reflect my own personal views on the matter of being 'lucky'.

First game won was I Am Alive thanks to the cherrypoppers. Sadly, wasn't as much of a survival game as they initially advertised it. Going to give it another attempt after I get a dedicated graphic card for this computer (only played about half an hour so far)

Seems like luck has become acquainted with you since then. It's a pretty rad game, though it's pretty brutal in the hardest difficulty. Only complaint would be the checkpoint system, which seems like it is artificially increasing the difficulty at times.

This past week especially has been lucky for me with all the bundles going on :P. What originally caught my eye on the game were the traps the guy was using in the first trailer (like placing a water bottle over a pit). Idk about the checkpoint system. I would think that having them be sparse would add to the survival element

I won The Ship during the The Ship gift spam era. It's an excellent game, though, and I had lots of fun with it.
