Samsung Galaxy S3-VS-S4 Mini

S3 Quad-Core, It's a better phone. the Mini Series from Samsung is not worth it imo.

Personally, I'd go with the S3. Better screen and most importantly, more storage space. (It should be illegal to sell a phone with only 8GB nowadays)

Performance will be mostly similar on both devices although the mini will probably be a tad faster when all cores are not under load because of the higher clock rate and lower resolution.

Samsung tends to drop support and updates faster on the mini line too. Even though the S4 mini was released a year later than the S3, it's still sporting an older version of Android than what you can get on the S3 with official updates.

Google Nexus 5 16Gb is better, I saw it for 320€

I had the same dilemma when I bought my phone, about 3 weeks ago. But when I looked at the specs it wasn't even a contest. Samsung Galaxy S3 is MOST DEFINITELY better. Bought it and never looked back. The "mini" type phones are SHIT. Don't waste your money on them. You'd be better off buying and HTC One.

I went from an S3 to an S4 mini and haven't looked back. Aside from screen size, it does everything the S3 did just as well, if not better. Unless you're doing a lot at once, you're not going to notice the lack of 2 processor cores. The best part is it's not gigantic, as seems to be the trend in most "flagship" phone models. Unlike with the S3, I can actually use this phone with one hand.

I do wish they made new phones as small as the HTC Hero I used to have though, but everyone seems to have a hard-on about having the biggest screen on the market.

The memory thing isn't an issue as you can just put an SD card in it (I think up to 64 GB?) and have all the storage space you could need.

I own an s3, go for it. Have no idea about s4 mini though

I have a s3 mini. I use a custom rom based on android 4.3.1 (also a 4.4.2 one is available). I think is great: great price, good speed and a average size screen (i hate the huge one).

Both are crap, Nexus 5 ftw
