[SOLVED] How can I see if a key is still valid?

Hello,

I have some (very) old keys, but sadly haven't noted, if and when they expire. Is there a way to check, if they are still ok?

Most of the keys are keys from games I own, and when I try to activate them via the web browser, they show the game which they are for. But does that mean that these keys are still valid?

The only way to find out, if a Steam key is still valid, is by successfully redeeming it on an eligible account that doesn't already own it, thus using it in the process.

We've been giving ancient keys (10+ years) away in the Bundle Oldies group, and so far all but one still worked.

If you got the keys from a reasonably legit source (so the dev had no reason to revoke the keys) then I think its safe to assume that they still work :)

That sounds good. Yes, they are all from official resellers. Mostly from bundles.
