8 euros is not a big deal, if it is for you you should go out and make some money instead of playing games

You are half right, and also half wrong. According to Squenix when you boot up the game on a fresh install you need to connect to their servers once. So I guess if you install the game once on your computer you'll be able to keep playing, but if you do a fresh install your game goes away, unless they've patched it out.

Edit: Accordingly with their 'End-of-Support Q&A': "Even after official support ceases on September 30, 2023, both single- and multi-player gameplay will continue to be available. See below for more information."
TD:LR: You'll still be able to play the game after September 30, single and multiplayer. They will only end their support to the game.
"Q: Will I still be able to play the game solo?
A: Yes. All content that is available for solo play will continue to be available after September 30, 2023."
"Q: Will I still be able to play with my friends?
A: Yes. Multiplayer will still be accessible after support discontinues on September 30, 2023. Multiplayer will continue to require Xbox Live Gold on Xbox platforms and PS Plus on PlayStation platforms."
"Q: Will single- and multi-player play be available forever?
A: The changes we are making to how the game functions will ensure as long a life as possible. However, after September 30, 2023 we can’t guarantee that we will be able to address issues that occur due to unforeseen circumstances."
"Q: If I buy a pre-owned copy of the game on disc after September 30, 2023, do I get all the free cosmetics?
A: Yes, everyone who owns the game will get access to the same suite of free cosmetics."
"Q: If I delete my digital version of the game, can I reinstall it after September 30, 2023?
A: Yes, if you own the game before September 30, 2023, you will be able to reinstall it after that date. However, as noted above, after September 30, 2023 we can’t guarantee that we will be able to address issues that occur due to unforeseen circumstances."

the only problem on steam deck is some of the text is burry, the button prompts don't show up. works fine if you use bluetooth xbox controller
oooh and it heats up like crazy

apparently all microtransactions and DLC are free now? can anyone confirm that?
Comment has been collapsed.
I launched the game to see. It seems like Microtransactions are free because I got a ton of "rare" cosmetics for launching the game. I can't say 100% the DLC is free but it seems like it is since I have all the characters unlocked.

83% if you're a Choice subscriber. The sale comes too late to get this, I guess:
By the way,
Update 2.8 is the final content update for Marvel’s Avengers. Official support will end on September 30, 2023.
I'm not sure if this affect the Steam Deck support (it might work on it in the future without the need of the developers with Proton updates).

I wasn't interested in the game up to this day and didn't know much about it either.
80+ discount would have been good enough.
Even the ending support probably wouldn't have scared me off because I'm mostly a solo player anyway.
But looking at the trailers it seems that they didn't have enough money to be able to get the "real" likeness of the actors and as far as I heard they even don't have the original actors voices.
And thats a hard NO for for me.

Err... that's an odd criticism to make your decision on. The characters have been around (most of them) for decades, and the likenesses are based on those characters, not the actors who played them.
(Don't take this as me defending the game. I played it during free availability twice and was underwhelmed twice. Supposedly I didn't get to the good part yet, but it was very slow and not working great on my system, so I didn't have the patience.)

Yes, the characters are around a long time.
But they clearly tried to make them look like the MCU versions without looking too much like the MCU characters.
Same goes for the voices, they used very similar, but not quite like the original.
It's like going to a restaurant, ordering a coke and getting a pepsi.
If they just used generic likenesses of the comicbook characters I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it.

Wouldn't make sense as the game is a wholly different universe and characters and story, you shouldn't buy it because it sucks not because of some likeness. Guardians of the Galaxy has nothing to do with movies either but it's well worth both time and money.

...-110% even is questionable (Yes I mean SE will pay you/me to play)

17% humble choice discount becomes 12% at checkout. 7.03€ instead of 6.64€. Why?
Comment has been collapsed.
I paused once but rejoined within a few days so I kept the 6 months discount of 17%. And it shows when I try to buy other games except Avengers.
Comment has been collapsed.
The full discount doesn't change (it shows as 12% before I add it to the cart, and I'm also eligible for the 17% as well).
The discount is for "up to 17%" and while the full discount applies to lots of games, it doesn't apply to all of them - for example: if they're new games, preorders, or have an already heavy discount.
I think publishers/developers also have a say in what they will accept, so HB probably can't always take the full hit themselves.

Ok. So it's not only me. It makes sense then. Thanks for the clarification.

It was 6.40 USD on GMG, bought it five minutes ago.

Even cheaper if you use the 2% coupon you get for being an XP member! $6.27.
Just a note, though - some territories have a different price. For example, the price was almost $9 USD here in Mexico. So I just hopped the border to the US and used a store's free Wi-Fi to buy it at the American price. XD
Look it's technically not against the rules... :p

You could get it even cheaper using a voucher from the SPRING BONUS PACK.
