Is possible to turn a game gift (from your inventory) into a redeemable steam code?

For convinence. Doing a puzzle on itstoohard and i canjust put the code in the winning mensage.
But i supose it's not possible.

You can send it as a gift to your email adress. Then you will get a link, and the winner will just need to put his email adress instead of yours in the link and open it (don't know if it will work just by removing your email adress...)
