Marvel, Jurassic, Batman 3 are the most recent games. So those would give you the most value. And they're pretty cool games if you like the franchises they are based on.

All of them are good. Just look at which ones look interesting to you (so if you like Harry Potter for example, go with those).

Having played several LEGO games with my kids, I think that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is the best simply for the amount of stuff you can do around Manhattan outside the main campaign. Most LEGO games tend to have a hub with stuff to do, but we spent a lot more time in Marvel doing that than in any other LEGO game.

I don't think you need to worry, this "deal" is much too expensive. Just compare it to the HB Monthly whose games are not getting bundled yet?.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

3.33 dollars for a 40-dollar game is dangerously close though. I'll wait a day to see if they get added before potentially buying a pack for giveaways.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

This was my thought as well...probably not worth risking it unless you don't care about CV which sadly I still do.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It's a two-way thing for me. I don't care about my level, but as long as the CV system is there, I care enough about it to calculate for optimal price/CV ratios.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah, I can't help but think of it like an RPG where I want to increase my level, even if I enter few enough GAs (let alone high-level GAs) for it really to matter very much.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It's not really that close, 95% off would be $2. Also, that's the only game retailing for $40.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

95% is more like a loose guideline though. It is up to the bundler to decide.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The potential discount is above 90%, so that game in particular is almost sure to get marked as bundled now.
HB Monthly bundles are nowhere close to 90% which is why they're never marked as bundled.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

it would be if you could buy 3xJurrasic World. As it is you can only buy 1 copy of 1 game, so best value you can get is Jurassic World 40$ + Batman 3 30$ + Any of 20$ games. It means paying 10$ for 90$ CV aka 90% sale. Far away from bundle list level ;)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yep, normally I'd agree, but I learnt to not trust the bundle list and wait a day before deciding. But I'll most likely go for a Jurassic World + Hobbit + LotR pack, not even Batman 3.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

LEGO games are pretty much never less than -75% which is 5 euro... so 3 for 11 is definitely saving.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Why take the risk to wait and increase the chance to see your game in a bundle? Why you didn't make the GA directly?

I don't really understand...

The games get bundled from the day they released the bundle. You won't get away with non bundled giveaway however fast you are. Ideally that is.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Because I wanted to make another giveaway train for the forum. And I kept postponing it. I even made some giveaways ahead of time last week but time ran out so I deleted them and the next day they got in a bundle lol..
But yeah, I should probably make all of them ahead of time. I have been doing that a few times. Making them last 1½ weeks, and think 'I'll get to it in some days' and then suddenly there's no time left of the giveaways.. Just been too busy, stressed out and playing games to bother this week. (I bought my copies last week though so.)

In other cases it's what people said. For events, or other special occasion. To always have something nice in the back hand or whatever you would call it :).

I'll translate:
"This monday sucks (I'm not sure why I expected something good from IG, IG is usually garbage, but I'm ever the addict optimist) on bundles.
This on top of the previous reduction of Humble bundles from 3/2 weeks to 2/2 weeks, and Groupees [actually, not sure why ev thinks Groupees is getting worse, given that their recent (good) bundles have been the best of the year (not hard, given the terrible start of the year). They're still releasing more trashy filler bundles than, say, a year ago, though- so that's probably what ev is referring to], and then there's more and more trashware bundle sites popping up every day, further making a mockery of my beloved- addiction addiction yep, definitely an addiction Look, there are no addicts on Steamgifts, okay? My beloved hobby- and I am quite miffed- MIFFED, I say!"

That about on point, ev? :)

It's a good deal if you're interested in 3 of the LEGO games on the list. Batman 3 And Jurassic World lowest price is around 7,5€ so if you're interested in those it's even better.

Comment has been collapsed.

I'm with you, depends on the games you want but seeing as I don't have LEGO Batman 3, Jurassic World & The Hobbit or Batman 3 Season Pass (Filler) seems pretty great to me. I think people are getting spoiled :)

$3.33 for hours of entertainment?? LOLWUT WURST EVR

Granted if you just need DLC this would not be the best way to get it.

True, if you already have the games and only need / want the DLCs, there are better ways to get them. But apart from that, I really don't get why some people think this is a bad deal ^^'

Definitely is a good deal here... sadly I already got most of those for the $5 regular -75%... but probably will still pick 3 for this price of those I don't have yet.

Definitely a great deal, especially for making giveaways imho. :)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It's not good for a bundle, considering the discount is less than 85% (just did a quick calculation in my head, and I'm kinda tired, so with reservations for me being daft), but it's a good deal for those who want the more expensive LEGO games, who life in NA, EU or AU and who are not willing to go through nuuvem or other foreign sites that requires a VPN.

Permalink

I guess you're right. Though I feel like people are way too spoiled when it comes to buying bundles. They tend to expect AAA titles for like 3 dollars / euros, it seems.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It's hard to not get used to good things, in particular when they are as common as bundles. And Bundlestars did decide to call it a bundle, so it only makes sense that people compare it to one.

It may just be the cheap bastard in me talking, but I don't see this as a good deal... especially not for those DLCs (wtf?). I'm really only interested in Jurassic World anyway. And, the Indiana Jones games aren't even on the list, pfft.

Interesting. Definetly a bundle I would want a game from, but a lot of these games are very similar. I'll probably either buy it and trade the other 2 games, or trade something for one of the games.

Anyone that's played them have an opinion on The Marvel Game vs Batman 2 vs Batman 3? From what I can tell from looking at steam the Marvel one has a good free roam where you can steal cars and stuff, and it has over 100 characters. Batman 2 seems to only have like 50+ characters according to steam's info.
