What means Trolling

Basicly it's just trying to get negative reaction out of someone...

It used to be about funny pranks and cornering the opposite using intentional logical fallacies, but now it's just "hurr durr stupid shit your retarted" "omg i troll u hahaha :DDDD"

The term goes back to a fishing term, where you put out bait and cruise around trying to get a reaction. The term morphed to include the mythological creatures "trolls", mostly to give the idea a face. Thus, the person doing it is a troll and the troll is trolling for a reaction.

Trolling is, i.e., when people post dumb questions, pretending to have no clue about something you can easily find out by just typing a word or two in Google...

Some trolls can be rather devious, but most are too obvious and would never fit under a stone bridge ready to jump out and scare anyone.

Why Do People Troll?

• Attention and recognition, even if negative
• The emotional release of venting
• The thrill of breaking social conventions
• Immaturity

What trolling is: Proper trolling is inducing an angry response in someone, often leading them into an endless debate. It is basically getting a good, sustained reaction from others. Good trolls never tell you that you're being trolled, you have to figure it out.

What trolling is not: Acting retarded on the internet and having people call you out on it.
