Never touched it and never will, i prefer using desktop icons. You dont have to organize them, just look for the game you want to play and thats it, you can write the game name and you will find it fastly

How is that any different than having them in the library?

I can open them directly from my desktop instead of opening steam, going to library and open the game

You can set the library page as defult. I used icons before but since there is steam grid view I prefer using that. You can set your own pictures too.

own pictures doesn't look nearly as good as the default pictures...

That depends, I have a custom Morrowind icon which looks much better than the default... But I use the desktop ones just for convenience, that and when one kid comes to my house thinking he's awesome with games and has so many I start counting my desktop icons...

Well, this has changed: Playing now (mostly solo games I'm trying to finish right now) + Playing sometimes (coop and multiplayer games, mostly) + Limbo (games that I have started but left unfinished, and have no will to play atm) + trash (for betas, mac version of games, and so on). Everything else is hidden below in the all games.

no management is fine, but when the number of games reaches tens or hundreds, the idea of using just a list goes to hell.
currently, i have:
100% complete, backlog, complete, multiplayer, new, non-steam, crap, mac
i can't say how annoying it is to only have an option to set the category one game at a time. also, multiple levels of categories would be bloody awesome.

You can write the name of the game you want to play and you will find it in less than 1 second...

I've got categories for all the genres I can think of that have a decent amount of games I can stuff into, and then I've got 100% Achievements, Completed, Indie Games, Working on Completing, and then a few games I haven't categorized yet.
Probably not the best way to categorize stuff since there are quite a few categories, but then again, it's good for me when I feel like playing some certain kind of game, I can find it right away. Especially since I have a lot of games, it'd be hard if I didn't have a decent amount of categories.

In your account, obviously.
I have 3 sections: beta, multiplayer and games.
I'm not very creative, I hope you have ideas
