Some reasons why I get whitelisted:
I'm a girl
I've posted selfies
I'm active
I'm funny (people with sensitivities/triggers may disagree)
My ratio is pretty okay
I try to be helpful, even though it happens rarely because the forum is so active I'm usually late and it's already answered
I post in whitelist recruiting threads
Is it justified?
It's a matter of opinion, so if they think so, it probably is.

Im kind of against those kinds of topics. I like the idea of Whitelisting thing. For me how the whitelist should work. You browse silently in the forums and when you find someone comment good enough, or someone created very creative puzzle, contest etc. Thats how I whitelist someone. I don't create so much giveaways so my whitelist members will suffer but still this is my opinion. I also saw another guy that created a whole thread about the same topic about this way of whitelistning.

Hmm Piracy i have different views on it. I live in country where i can download everything for free. It's nice for TVs and Movies imagen it like free Netflix. For games i don't use it regularly. If I'm pirating a games its because i want to see if my computer can run the game. I can read requerments but sometimes you can run a game like 30 fps low settings and the requerments says that your machine is not going to support that game. Its like Demo version (but full game :D). And if i like the game i will most definetly buy it on Steam.

I can see that point of view. I think I only pirated a game once. Unless roms/games for emulators count. I actually prefer to buy games on steam (but in an effort to "try before I buy" I'll usually check out videos and see if it'll be for me. Let's plays are useful for buying decisions, I find).

It's nice when I notice that someone whitelisted me, but really most of the time I don't know why they do that. It's like blacklisting when looking at my stats page, both are gradually increasing but damned if I know why they happen on certain dates. At least I know why I'm whitelisted on these whitelist recruitment threads.

I feel like a whore when I get whitelisted by all these random people, but I kinda like it.
Honestly I feel kinda shitty when I get whitelisted because I'm pretty sure a lot of the people who did it only did so out of pity based on the shit I often write about on here. So yeah, most of the times I think it probably isn't justified.
