even the steam version is for uplay so...when you start the game it loads up uplay

Yes, but the promo only gives a UPlay key, which cannot be redeemed on Steam. Hence, you can't make a giveaway for it here, which was my point.

Guess everyone already said it, but in case you're new here, not every giveaway is real. :)

Some people don't understand how this place works, and think making a giveaway means they will get a free game. Haven't looked at the giveaways you mentioned, but you will often see a black ops 2 giveaway created by some confused person. I keep entering them, but sadly all my wins were real. :(
