Lolz...already saw it yesterday and already pledged. :p
You could bring more people to look at it by making a giveaway and asking people to take a look at it in the giveaway description I believe.

Neat. It looks really promising :)
Unfortunately, all I really see right now is concept art. Nice concept art :) I cannot wait to see actual game.

I am truly tired of Minecraft clones, more so, Kickstarter. Not too long ago, game developers did not have the option to "beg" for money, for lack of a better term. I reviewed the Kickstarter, and did you now that the developers of this game want a million dollars from Kickstarter?! So, you want to develop a game, but you want to be given a million dollars to develop a game?! When did this happen? Why in the hell do you folks support this idea?! I will help you developers, once you develop the game and I buy it! I will not pay you a collective, million dollars, then buy it! For $5000 I get my name as an NPC and I get to design a dungeon?!
"As experienced software and/or game industry professionals, we are aware of the risks and challenges these kinds of projects bring. It is important for you, backers, to know that we will not release the game just to keep up with the planning if we are not convinced of its quality.
The Alpha and Beta version of the game will help us reach these quality goals, with the support of you, backers, who will take part in the final «design» of the game."
Hey buddy! It's not called backing...It's called investing! Except for the fact you are screwing over every investor! I'll give you $5000, but I better see a 10% gain on my investment! If you are so experienced, why do you need a million dollars to make a rip off of Minecraft?
That is my two cents ++

Awwwww... And here you had me all excited that someone was going to bring back Planets, the original turn-based game of galactic conquest and pre-cursor to VGA Planets.

I just saw this game while browsing Kotaku and it looks very promising. It's like Minecraft but on steroids. I'd like to share and spread the word with steamgifters as I already pledged $15. Would be nice to have an ACTUAL Minecraft like game on Steam rather than those imitators. Lots more info on links below.
Planets³
Greenlight
Description from their Greenlight:
Imagined by video game lovers, Planets³ (pronounced «planets cube») combines the excitement of a RPG with the pleasure of construction and the boundless freedom to roam about in a 3D universe. Its intricate plot and outstanding voxel based design offers opportunities for intense action and unlimited creativity. Planets³ has been designed to promote multi-player gameplay, to share the fun with friends.
Today, the game is in the early development stage.
Planets³ : a RPG
Rumors have it that aliens who look like humans, crashed onto the planet some years ago. What happened? Where are they from? Why did they crash? Are there survivors?
To discover the answers to these questions, Planets³ players will have to solve a number of mysteries and build up their own little world, before expanding into the universe. Many adventures await them and they’ll find plenty of help -and enemies- along the way. As they progress, they’ll be able to level up their character to achieve more and more freedom, till they can roam the universe in their own starship, which, by the way, they may have created themselves…
Planets³ : a construction game
More than just an adventure game, Planets³ is also a construction game. The wide range of shapes and materials allows you to create everything you need: tools, vehicles, housing… A hundred different materials are represented, including woods, rocks, metals, dirt, sand, gravel, transformed materials, and of course…alien technology and materials!
The best way to travel will be to create vehicles.
Some quests in the game will require the player to build houses or vehicles.
