Won a game. The person who made the giveaway can't supply.

I joined this website a few days ago and was very happy when I saw that I already won a giveaway (Natural Selection 2). Sadly I got to know that I won't receive any game because the person who made the giveaway was not aware of how the giveaways work. He thought he could just giveaway games from his Steam library. :D

Anyways, I'm not here to complain, I'm happy that a site like this exists. I just want to know if this happens often or if this was just an unlucky day for me.

I won Magicka once, and it turned out the guy had a regional code that didn't work in the US.

But then Magicka later came out in a bundle so in the long run, I didn't lose anything.

This happens quite often. a good way to try to avoid it is to always check the profiles of people who don't have pictures on here. if they only have around 5~10 previously entered giveaways and/or their steam game count is low, then usually they won't deliver.

Yeah, I feel you. I won region locked game and owner had to reroll because I could'nt activate it. :-x
