When you give a game you feel happy about what you did, and get a warm feeling. I'd say it's the giving orgasm :p

The developers usually gift over 100 games and people giveaway because they know that its not easy for everyone to get the game they want :)

1) Where do people get so many games?
Buy them, trade for them, get them for free, whatever.
2) Why are people so kind and gift those games?
Because they feel like it.
3) How can someone have like 100 copies of game?
With giveaways like that, they're either exploited keys or developer giveaways.

You hurt my feelings, it is my goal to make 100 copies giveaway one day. :/

Cheap sales on steam or other websites, Indie bundles, people getting hundreds of keys from the devs for free / for a low price, contributor system encourages exploiting with specific cheap non bundle games..

What is that? I usually just rob a bank or liquor store.

There are many ways for people to get games: buying or trading are the most common ones. And why do people gift games?? Because they can. If you have a couple of extra bucks, why not use them to give someone a gift to make them happy?? I believe the two main reasons why people give away games are because they either are generous and want to spread love around, or they are just after contribution value.

People buy games on sales mostly, or just have money and want to make other gamers happy, that's why they gift games. And how do you know they don't buy them for themselfs too, or they just don't like the game and they want to give it to someone that will like it... Have you lost all hope in humanity, that you can't even believe there are people that want to give games to make someone else happy?

Some people are just amazingly generous. They may have bought the game first for themselves and enjoyed it so much, they want to let other people enjoy it too. And I'm just warning you before anybody jumps at you with accusations. I should know, I made a thread here once where I said something like: "if I had game X" and many people saw it as begging.

Games are full of violence and misery. Until someone invents a way to punch one through internet, gifting is my best option to punish people. Not to forget sweet burden of backlogs that comes as bonus.

I'm going to interpret your statement as a question, despite the lack of appropriate punctuation.
The answer would be 'yes.' For example, this is the classic answer to the question, "What is jazz?"
It's also a good answer to similar questions, such as, "What is the Tao?"

Implying that all giveaways come from Russians I assume? Or are purchased from Russians in order to make giveaways.

We have so much spare money and just don't know what to do with it.

because the already have a copy of the game and dont want to waste it
because they want to have better chances being in a contributor auction then 5500 entry general public ones.
because they bought the game in a package or realized they will never use it as its not there type of game.
because they are developers promoting thier game and hoping others who don't win will buy it.
to advertise thier blog, youtube channel etc in the comments and only have to give a free or almost free game to do it.
those are a few off the top of my head. but rarely is it because they are a saint, philanthropist or santa claus :)

We buy them.
Sometimes we buy bundles that have stuff we already own or aren't interested in or we just want someone else to enjoy a game we loved. Everyone has their reasons.
Those are developer giveaways and require permission to do actually. Plain and simple, it's marketing. A way to get word out about something is to provide free stuff or discounts. By giving away 100 copies, that gets 100 people to own the game that didn't before. Those people will then play the game and spread word to friends if they like it. Plus even putting up the giveaway spreads word and some who don't win may go buy the game anyhow later.

It is part of my long term plan.
1) Make giveaways
2) Get as many people to enter
3) Profit
4) Take over the universe
So ovbious if you think about it. :P
