I'm glad to change over from console gaming to a PC. Just managed to miss out on the current Humble bundle though... Crap timing.

Deep Silver? It's still going on for about another four hours, according to the website (I noticed that it's not on istheanydeal.com anymore, though).

I don't think laptop gaming is better than consoles. Maybe worse

depends on the laptop, i have a pretty high powered laptop that can run all of my games on high at least with no problems

A gaming laptop has like 90% of the games that have been released on consoles, and it has better graphics, performances, mods, and most of all, a keyboard and a mouse. You also can play with a pad. How can consoles can be better than PC?

Small keyboard, touchpad, shitty screen, low battery life when playing, overheating, horrible built in speakers. I may have missed a thing or two but you get the idea

A console has no keyboard, the touchpad is meant to be replaced by a mouse, the screen is shitty on budget laptops and you can plug up to three external monitors, the overheating problem can be solved by a 20$ fan, and the built-in speakers aren't always horrible. You can also plug most of the external sperkers. Oh, and when playing, you are supposed to plug it in the sector - like every home console.
I'll also add that the games worth 10$ less in PC than in consoles, and here, proof that PC is better than consoles.

funny, my laptop stomps any console, but it's got a beautiful 1080p screen, decent battery, isn't overheating and oh guess what! I use my 2.1 speaker set, mouse, kb and 24" monitor with it...Strip a console off the TV and controller and what have you? Less than the laptop you described.

I got an Asus G75 Series G75VW from a Newegg flash deal. I think I've done alright.

What if I told you that you can use both PC and consoles for gaming?

You could've build a pretty decent pc for the money you spend on "gaming" laptop.

laptops and high-end quality gaming don't go well together. ah...maybe if you invest over 5.000 Euro. but with 5000 Euro you can make yourself a desktop system which will last for at least 4 years for high-end gaming.

Console gaming is not bad. -_-

Get a PS3 and a subscription to PS+ and BAM! Great experience! This comes from a Console/PC gamer.
