Lies, my HD 3000 runs every game I have fine (Dungeon Defenders, Amalur, Skyrim, Deus Ex: HR, ect)

It is, then again in Device Manager mine only recently started saying HD 3000. It used to just say HD Graphics, I only knew I had that because I looked it up before I got the lapsop

Me too. But DunDef runs fine. And AC:R runs too. Lags though.

Mine is pretty good, I'm going to be putting a second 560ti and a 2TB drive in it as soon as they arrive.

Nice, how much space total do you have with the 2TB factored in and how many hard drives?

This'll be my third HD since I have two more which are 1TB each. I'm quite tempted to get a SSD soon.

I am in the same position...need to get a SSD for my system drive. As for hard drives I currently have 4 HDDs with 2 HDD slots left open in my pc case and enough sata/sata power to fill them):
500gb (system)
1tb (storage/game files)
2tb (movie media ripped in 1080p and 5.1/7.1 (if it has it) from bluray discs)
2tb (tv show media using a tv tuner card to record in 1080p with whatever sound quality they offer from cable)

there is no reason to get a SSD yet. They are virtually a flash drive which erases and rewrites ALL the data every time one tiny bit of data needs to be written. sure, its fast and works ok.... for now. But they are not stable enough yet to even bother with it. If you have a shitload of expendable income, then go for it lol... if not, wait a year or two (or more) until its perfected. And plus... if you are just getting it for your operating system, then you will be booting a ssd to run things from a non ssd...

SSD's aren't really that expensive are they? I see them going for something like £110 for 120gb which isn't that much tbh. The only reason I haven't got one yet is because I can't be bothered to put some proper research into them yet.

Why don't you just save up money and buy a new, more powerful PC? That's what I'm doing since my current one is starting to age.

Lest week I visited my sister to fix her computer, because she told me it didn't work properly and she didn't know what was wrong.
What turned out to be the problem? She had 5MB (yes, that's five whole megabytes) free space left on her HD.
I don't even.

I have an 8 year old computer, it's the best thing I could afford then and now. Less than 400mb of ram, a shitty processor and an Ati Radeon Xpress 200 graphic's card. I know that feel, man.

I have a 10 year old Laptop with an EPIC Pentium 3 700Mhz Processor, 256MB RAM, a HUGE 8MB of Video Memory and a failing 40GB Hard Drive. Thankfully I don't use it any more

My Pc has a 2.4GHz single core CPU, 1GB Ram and a 128MB GPU and my notebook has 2GHz Dual Core, 4GB RAM and a 512MB GPU and it throttles the CPU to 50% everytime I do something besides internet surfing, but I can manually "dethrottle" it with Rightmark CPU Clock Utility, all I need to do is to minimize the game, open the program and dethrottle it.....jelly? ;)

Don't feel so bad. I am in the same boat. My laptop stinks so bad, I can't watch youtube/flash videos without lag....in the regular window mode. I was watching The Legend of Avatar (the newest one) the other day and my computer gave me audio/videos delays.
Its so bad, it lags on the Minecraft demo. Flash games choke my system. Firefox kills my system. Sand Andreas lags on it.
This is my last laptop...ever.
