Contribution amount went down by $10 - why?

I just noticed this today. I've had a balance of just over $200 and now its showing $190. All of the games I gave away seem to be accounted for, so I'm stumped. The only thing I can think of is possibly one of the games I gave away now has an adjusted value, but that shouldn't be fair, after the fact I gave it away. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm frustrated.

EDIT: Got my answer. But you guys should really have this in the FAQ, it's nowhere to be found. Food for thought.

Here's the best thing you can do to avoid being frustrated in this situation. Quit caring so much about your contributor value.

didn't saints row 3 use to be 50 points? its 30 now. Contrib is based on the Current price of games. So if you gave away 10 skyrim, and the price dropped to $10, you would get $100 form those games.

So the changes are in real time? That sucks. I was assuming the contribution value was static. Well, I have more games to give away, but with the attitude of most of these users, I'm not so sure.

What Dsc wrote was don't care about it IF you want to avoid being upset by the value dropping. He wasn't trolling trying to just save you some headaches.

Many consider the spirit of the site to be that gifts are given for the sake of giving, not for profit. Hence a bit hostile responses when people mention this topic.

Well I do like to give them away, but the contribution amount is a nice dangling carrot, if you will. Just curious as to why it happened is all.
