Everyone get their price adjusted, how is it unfair?

Many consider the spirit of the site to be that gifts are given for the sake of giving, not for profit. Hence a bit hostile responses when people mention this topic.

I just noticed this today. I've had a balance of just over $200 and now its showing $190. All of the games I gave away seem to be accounted for, so I'm stumped. The only thing I can think of is possibly one of the games I gave away now has an adjusted value, but that shouldn't be fair, after the fact I gave it away. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm frustrated.
EDIT: Got my answer. But you guys should really have this in the FAQ, it's nowhere to be found. Food for thought.
