Bluetooth headphones said something ominous and confusing

I backed and received ReduxBuds bluetooth headphones on Kickstarter back in 2020. Since then, I've only ever heard "Connected" or "Pairing" when using them, aside from whatever I'm actually listening to of course. This morning I put in an earbud and it said "When you are safe, you will f-", but, not expecting anything out of the ordinary, I pressed a button on my phone, though that stopped it from finishing. Anybody know what that could be?

Hmmm, it could be, just phrased a little differently. They are able to access the Google assistant, so maybe.
