I don't think people resemble the sad guy face to the Alcatraz game, but the blocky one to the top left of the sword and raven drawing. Although I don't find this one particularly similar either.
The sad guy face (he's wearing some glasses on red eyes) makes me fairly curious. It also makes me hope they put something nice in this Be Mine. The last one was so disappointing.

On steam forum they ask since 2015 for a translate and no answer. It don't seem easy to play without understanding any command.

I believe the first game took 3 years to get a translation. But it's a 1C Company game, and they're infamous for being absurdly poorly translated, so don't put any real expectations into that front. Though, the Alcatraz games also apparently have some pretty nasty "humor" [ie, racism], so it's probably for the best to play it with as unclear an understanding of those elements as possible :P
The gameplay and atmosphere is supposed to be excellent, though ["Like a darker, more involved classic Fallout game"], and many actually love it for the AllYourBase-style translation humor.
I can't make any sense of all the criticisms over the language, when it's pretty identical to including any EA or greenlight game- you're never entirely sure they'll pull through with all they promise, but you buy those anyway, yea?
Just view it like an EA game that's waiting for a translation patch before launching.
Besides, if you're interested in the game, you're interested in it and you're familiar with the company's approach. If not, well, you can trade it or give it away. The language barrier really shouldn't factor in how you approach it, other than likely making you want to wait on playing it, if you decide to keep it.
Meanwhile, every BM always has a few junky throw-ins. This is a game most would consider passably decent- so at worst, consider it just a typical junky throw-in, but with the benefit of potentially one day transforming into something more agreeable.
Getting overly excitable because of a simple language barrier, when it's no different a consideration than any of the other elements I mentioned, is just a needless basis for stressing yourself out.

I'm not "overly excitable" because of a simple language barrier, i play in english and it's not my language.
Trade a russian game won't be as easy as a english game.

I didn't catch the release date, however. If it's from 2008, then yeah, that's a lot more of a concern on not getting a language patch at any point, and much more legitimate reason to be grumpy over it [same as if they'd put up an EA game that was known to have been abandoned prior to reaching a meaningfully playable state].

When I buy a bundle I expect to get games I can play. Maybe I don't like these games, that's ok but giving me a game I can't play is rediculous. I order from a .com site, paying in dollars so Swahili, Japanese or Rusian only games are not acceptable.

At the very least they should have been transparent about blindly selling you and everyone else a Russian-only game that does you no good. But the money is not the issue here (only 2 bucks) I still feel scammed and to me it's unbelievable they do a thing like that and get away with it.

I won't hate you lol. I used to like Groupees too. That was way back in their early days though. Now it's very much the opposite.
To me the really big problem began when they started with this blind (and of course non-guaranteed) pre-order nonsense, which as far as I am concerned is and always has been an inherently dishonest practice. You combine this with bundle quality that took a nosedive a very long time ago and continues to decline year after year and mix it with some additional unethical spice (as evidenced by the example here), and it is a recipe for a putrid soup that smells like it was just scooped out of someone's cesspool. Groupees has completely forgotten (or perhaps more appropriately, simply don't care) about what it means to follow the principles of business ethics.
I mean you have to be doing something seriously wrong to turn someone who used to be a staunch supporter into one of your biggest detractors.

Well, you can manually translate it, so you can't really say it's entirely unplayable (assuming that affects all gameplay buttons/etc as well). Probably'd do about as good a job as an official 1C translation, in any case. :P
Just view the bundle as having 5 games, rather than 6. At the very least, it's certainly nothing to be angry over- that's way too much energy spent over something so minor. Though, if you're truly peeved, and so long as you haven't revealed any products, you can try contacting Groupees for a refund due to 'misrepresentation of bundle contents'. They've said previously in the past that they'll refund for that, though subsequent discussions on the topic have made it.. a bit uncertain if they do or not. Still, worth a shot, at least- though really, it's essentially 5 games for $1, and the reveals gave you a good idea of what you were getting into.
Unlike the small handful of bundles where they actually did misrepresent the bundle contents with false indications, this one seems to have been pretty straightforward and upfront. Cy even confirmed PA2, so it's not as if we didn't have the basis for making a calculated judgment.
I'm not saying it was necessarily an ideal inclusion, or that you shouldn't gripe to Groupees about if it concerns you- just, that I don't feel the preorder really misrepresented anything. In other words, gripe to them about what kind of things they include in bundles, but don't treat them as having been duplicitous. It was a subjective opinion on their part, on whether the game merited inclusion and on how much the language mattered. If it's a big deal to users, let them know that! But, you can't say they didn't make it clear within the preorder what was going on with this bundle.

Alcatraz is a bad joke, but I was eyeing Black Sea Odyssey and Midsummer Night, and there is a $1 coin, so I'm not too disappointed - maybe the mystery game will be mind blowing...
I realize though the Be Mine tag can't be trusted anymore. I used to buy them blindly, but seeing Alcatraz in there is a slap in the face of loyal customers, and adding to that the overall Be Mine quality has been decreasing heavlily.

Most this year has been low quality, anyway, but certainly everything since this March has been rather unfortunate, other than BM25.
Seems like it declined late last year, crashed a bit around the end/start of the year, picked back up a bit up through March, and then just mostly nose-dived straight down since [Of note, it rather precisely started its unrestrained downward spiral from the very point that Miller became involved in the bundles, whether that's actually a directly responsible factor or not].
It's rather a worrisome direction for the site to be heading into. :/

Either the curator was a dumbass (did anyone admit to curating that game yet?) or Groupees ran out of quality english games to put in the bundle. They seem to have a harder time finding decent games to bundle compared to IG or BundleStars. Yeah. I would have been fine with even a terrible English text translation and no voice over. If it were something like an FPS, rather than an RPG, then it wouldn't really matter. An RPG is going to be more dependent upon understanding what's going on and what you need to do. The first review for this game even states "it is unplayable for anyone who does not speak Russian." What a stupid decision Groupees made...

I think it's an ok bundle, though definitely nowhere near as good as the previous BMs. The $1 tier is just horrible, and the second tier is not worth $3.75. If it didn't have a wishlist game (Midsummer Night) and Blacksea Odyssey (which looks alright), my opinion would be that it's complete crap. I do wonder if they'll even reach the 4k goal.

The game is really poorly balanced. Difficulty is all over the place, and combat is not very fun. And the translation, well, I found myself zoning out when reading the text on screen, it was that bad. With some proper re-balancing and a competent translation, it might have been good.

I will say this, though: I contacted them and they instantly replied. The guy who handles bands is great. They put our only full CD with vocals and studio mastered songs into BM20 in mere days. We talked about adding Xon, which is a concept album where we make an 8-bit chiptunes OST to a game that never existed, into a future bundle... that suddenly became GC5 which came out within a week of the other bundle. I think they kind of blew our load, if you will. It would have been better if they spaced our stuff out.
I can't complain, though. I've bought all game bundles from them for years and to have our CD in a Be Mine was great.

It's kind of weird because, while I love them and buy them, too, Indie Gala's bundles essentially take ANYTHING and throws it against a paywall. So many crappy VR games and games like the two Trump games have been part of them.
I figure they include so many games for such a low price point that it should hurt the quality of their games but they seem to be doing great essentially scooping up any new Steam game that's 5 dollars or less. The coins from bundles you buy won't get into your profile until the bundle is over. Sometimes it even takes another couple of days. But you will get them. :)
And yes, you use them during the checkout. I've added a picture to show you how it looks like! So you can choose how many or which coins you want to. Just be aware that you cannot pre-order bundles with coins. You can only use them when the bundle is already live. Also, you will not get change back, so use them wisely! :)
If you e.g. pay with two $1 coins, and you want a bundle costing $4, you'll obviously use the coins and then pay the remaining $2 with whatever payment method you choose. =)

This is a one-time only issued, non-fluctuating value coin and is redeemable only at groupees.com for other products or may be traded with other users.
When it says non-fluctuating value coin, it means it won't rise in value. There's only been a handful or so of the fluctuating coins. :) But yes, neither give change back. So one should use the fluctuating coins on the more expensive bundles such as VN or comic bundles.

I'm confused why so many people are disappointed about this bundle. Blacksea Odyssey and Midsummer Night seem to be great games, Strategy & Tactics: Wargame Collection isn't too bad, and the bundle also contains a $1.00 coin. Of course, Planet Alcatraz 2 is completely ridiculous, but in my opinion the other games make up for it. Save the Ninja Clan looks quite nice as well, I hope it's coming to Steam at some point.

Though it is a Be Mine, and they really used to have the best reputation and a lot of hype built up around them for a good reason. It's slowly decreasing now. And yeah, the Russian-only game really didn't do good for this bundle. Who knows, maybe in 5 years there will be an English translation.. ;p
Anyways, let's just hope the mystery game is a good one! And yes, the greenlight game and the $1 coin made it worth it ^^

The Russian only game feels like a poorly timed April Fools joke but I got a game from the bundle, the coin and just traded another of the games on here for something wishlisted so not too bad.

Ох лол, это какой-то совсем эпичный троллинг, Групиис (или как это название читается правильно?) потиху так продали почти 3000 копий игры, которую большая часть покупателей их бандлов никогда бы отдельно не купили. Это как если бы я начал на английские комментарии тут на СГ отвечать на русском, в надежде что нарвусь на законспирированного жителя какой-нибудь страны из СНГ, который поймет меня без гугл-переводчика и ответит мне, а не спросит что-нибудь вроде "втф дюде ай донт спик рашн ор ватэва". Супер бандл, не зря купил!
