When people criticized the EA app, I thought it was exaggerated, but today I saw that when downloading a game, the processor increased 100%, while other launchers is barely going between 5% and 10%

I just bought Trepang2 recently, but it's a good game, so i don't mind that i payed more for it.
I was quite dissapointed otherwise, especially with the EA key, but ended up getting my moneys worth out of it, my store discount is safe.

Can someone confirm this but I don't have the activation deadline for My Little Universe. The Origin Immortals of Aveum key however has a deadline: "Must be redeemed by September 3rd, 2025 by 10:00 AM Pacific Time."
Tales & Tactics deadline is correct tho.

Tried Immortals of Aveum and i have to say...
I think it's the worst AAA game i ever played.
My specs are:
5800x3d
2080 Super
32GB RAM
The game runs at 30FPS or less most of time, going to 10FPS on the first combat on tutorial.
None of the characters shown in the tutorial are relatable, the plot is stupid and makes no sense.
Thankfully i just had a power outage on the excelent credits after you end the tutorial and then i proceeded to uninstall.

No that is correct but they added as either a way to try to get people o enjoy it until it comes time to pay like Ā£20 for it or whatever or added it to try and shut up people like us saying bad things of the bundle
edit: Also I think it was added to try and fool people in thinking full game will be unlocked later if you buy this bundle as I guess from what you read on this thread sales are not going to be big numbers (If they were big numbers I bet half the games would run out and they would never get replacement keys)

That's very cynical. Obviously the dev would hope that if you enjoy the playtest, you'll buy the full game. But if people think it's anything more than what it says it is, that's on said people and not the devs or Humble. There is nothing that implies it is anything other than what it quite literally says it is.
They're offering a playtest snd you're basically saying, "how dare you add this playtest after the bundle released. You're trying to trick me!!!" It would be comical if it wasn't kind of sad.

edit: even if I did like the look of this game and was into this sort of thing - I bet it wouldn't make the sales needed to keep dev/publish happy and servers online for long - I hope i'm wrong of course and it does really well but a tech demo that should be free to everyone on the store isn't going to do much to change my mine sorry (hope you enjoy it)

I do enjoy most genres. But also, I don't mind stepping outside my wheelhouse to try things I would never have bought had they not been a buck. It's actually a great opportunity to try new types of games out IMO.
The flipside to that is that there are only so many hours in a day to do so. And there might be some games I have zero interest in of course.
This is why I make a point of differentiating between my own preferences and the deal itself. A bundle might not be ideal for me in every way but is still generally a stellar deal whether I choose to buy it or not. In the case of Humble Choice, there hasn't been a month where there weren't at least a couple games I was directly interested in, which makes my own decision pretty easy. And at this point, there is far less overlap between the monthly bundles and games I already own. Which is nice.
I also don't sit on keys, and so the real main issue with Humble (as far as I'm concerned), which is overselling bundles, doesn't ever affect me. I immediately reveal all keys, activate the ones I want, and give away the ones I don't. So, there is never an opportunity for Humble to run out of keys for games I purchased. And none of my keys expire since they all get used.

Really since Barter left us I haven't got much joy in trading I tried that lestrade site but I can't say I like it much yet so keeping keys for trading isn't something i'd be worried about right now either?
Flip side for Ā£8.99 as Waxworm pointed out I could use that money to by a game I wanted or better yet far more games/dlc for giveaways other places

I think the expiry information in the OP need an correction.

Pacific Drive is not my kind of game but does seem like good choice material.
cavern of dreams seems nice... but doesn't seem like headliner material, more of filler slot. If its in the bundle will definitely keep that one.

Watch the MandaloreGaming review of Homeworld 3. The reasons are very, very real. I legit feel so bad for fans of the series (and especially for the lead writer of the original games).

Microsoft has stopped supporting 32-bit software
This keeps getting quoted in connection with Origin and it's completely untrue. Microsoft is dropping support for Windows 10 in October, which is the last Windows OS with a 32-bit version. Windows 11, while 64-bit only, can and will continue to run 32-bit software for a long, long time.
EA wants to drop Origin because they don't want to support two different apps. It has nothing to do with Microsoft.

Why worry, Nacon only puts base games in bundles. The extra stuff, usually costs more than rebuying the superior version, in this case the Digital Artbook & Alex Murphy Pack. There's also the Vanguard Pack, but I think that was a pre-order bonus. Of course if you don't care about extras, you might just wait for a bundle.
