I get up in the evenin'
And I ain't got nothin' to say
I come home in the mornin'
I go to bed feelin' the same way
I ain't nothin' but tired
Man, I'm just tired and bored with myself
Hey there, baby, I could use just a little help.

That man is giving 2+ hour shows, he is there for the audience to give a show and not the other way around that the audience gives the artist some ego boost, respect for the man.

Everyone always said these were good, so I splurged on one of the bundle sales. Nice giveaway, and a good song.

Thanks for sharing.

If you mean the lady who also starts playing the guitar and doing backup vocals, he says "that's my baby sis"

Yes i skimmed that part a bit, thanks.

I was always thought to like really put your mouth as close to the microphone, yet i always see singers singing from a far like that.

It's individual and also depends on the equipment.
Some people like to keep their distance, especially when getting louder and higher, some singers practically eat their microphone 😀

Btw, if you'd like a singing analysis channel recommendation:
https://www.youtube.com/@TheCharismaticVoice
Our operatic founder and vocal guru, Elizabeth Zharoff, has multiple degrees in music and voice from the Curtis Institute of Music, Oberlin Conservatory, and Berklee College of Music. She's also a voice science nerd. Mrs. Zharoff has performed in 18 languages, throughout major venues in Europe, Asia, and North America. She has a uniquely modern career which bridges the gap between voice and technology, and aims to demystify singing for all.

Best to start with her first videos where she discovered Rock and Pop.
One video I particularly enjoyed was her reaction and analysis to Deep Purple's BBC live recording of Child in Time:
