Gordon Freeman (Half-Life) - studious looking and a bad $#@. He's from Washington, so he's native to where I'm from. Only problem is that he doesn't speak much, if at all, and neither do I... The lack of conversation might be... awkward. Plus he seems to have a thing for that girl Alex :)

The personality has a huge impact on how much I like a character; how attractive I find them. The first one is someone I haven't gotten to "know" all that well, since I only have the first episode of Life is Strange, but he seems like a good guy. :)
Just these three for now -- I can't get my screens to come up on Steam right now! >_<

Adam Jensen is definitelly one of the most handsome game characters in my opinion.
Other than Adam, I really have a thing for guys in hoods, so put a hood on anything and chances are I'll drool all over it (Altair from AC, Garrett from Thief, yes, even hunters from L4D and many others...) :D

No love for the original? (I don't actually know if he had a name back then, but it was nice of them to bring back the stealth gameplay in the most recent Wolfenstein.)
Did you know that Wolfenstein was one of the first stealth games ever made? If we go by the definition set by The Guinness Book of World Records it was the second one, beaten by 005 which was released earlier the same year.

To be honest, I was more of a Doom guy back then :P But this reboot of the series has me hooked. Despite being a man of few words, I'm really glad they gave BJ a character. The Old Blood's menu was definitely designed by a woman though. They should have called it Wolfenstein: The Shirtless Edition.
Nice fact about 005! I never knew what the first stealth game was until now :o

Nope, the guys at ID were just big fans of the original, so they wanted to make a sequel. They got the rights to it (contrary to popular belief, the creator of the first Wolfenstein was well aware of what ID was doing, he was not cheated by them, and he even said that he quite liked the new Wolfenstein). The original plan from ID was to make a stealth game, like the first 2 Wolfensteins, but their prototype was, according to the developers, not very fun to play, so they made it a shooter instead. And so a genre was popularized (it was not the first FPS).
Another misconception about the first Wolfenstein was that it was the first game using raycasting. It was not, Raycasting had been around for a while. Nor was it the first raycasted game to have a more advanced 3D engine with wall textures and such. In fact Wolfenstein was inspired by Ultima Underworld (or rather the tech that was shown before the game was released). The Wolf 3D engine is less advanced that Ultima Underworld (remember, Ultima Underworld had a full 3D world, you could move up & down, it had sloped surfaces and so on, Wolf 3D was played on a 2D plane). It just ran a lot better than Ultima Underworld (and by a lot, I really mean a lot, Underworld was notoriously sluggish and demanding on the system, despite limiting how much you could see far more than Wolf 3D). For the record, I do love Ultima Underworld, both for how much of a leap in technology it actually was, and for its gameplay.
Alright Fnord, back to work, no need to post overly long posts that people won't read just to have an excuse to not do any work

I swear that I had a reason* to create this thread, but I kinda forgot it.
So, without further ado, gimme your picks on the sexiest alpha males in gaming!
Maybe a bearded snake? Or a bearded toaster? Bearded beast-slaying mutant? yeah, I just might have a thing for beards
Either way, it doesn't have to be the protagonist of the game. Can be the villain, some sort of secondary character, heck, even if some particular GTA pedestrian caught your attention, share it. ME WANT PICS!!!
Also, since I had a shitty and tiring day, then why not put a smile on someone's face? Maybe that was even that *reason?
