There is no cross platform multiplayer

I don't believe so, its unlikely as updating Xbox, ps3 and PC games takes different amounts of times and and would make cross networking hard (this is why counter strike:go scraped it just before release) Plus its expensive. Also the PC has nightmare mode and 360 have insane and insane+ i think.
Add me on steam if you wanna play some time. My fave game at the moment.

PC and Console versions numbers don't match up, and PC players have the advantage in placement accuracy due to having a mouse.

I'd like to see an FPS have cross-platform multiplayer just so people see the problems that causes. We'll see massive complaints about Microsoft not releasing the latest version to the console players. They're just not as fast as Valve is when it comes to approving new patches. Give people the ability to see only console/pc or both, so they can decide if they wish to put up with seeing so many servers they can't connect to.
