Any advices for a wannabe artist who can't even draw a line let alone a circle? I'm too impatient to practice several years without seeing significant improvement ;w;

It's a cliche, and I don't like it either, but practise helps a lot.
Some of the best artists today advises drawing an hour a day. I wish I were hardworking and motivated enough to do that consistently :') Will try to change that.
I wrote a reply to someone's comment, maybe something in my derpy rambling might be useful?
And proportions help. Try looking up deviantart or tumblr anatomy tutorials. You learn a lot in a relatively short time.
