Well. Since there are still no summer sale game achievements why don't you just solve this 'Big hints' quiz? Common! More than 20 people solved Award's quiz and you can't solve this one???! It's so easy you can just fly through answers! Like one solver did! :)

I have solved most of the puzzle besides Q2 by now, even the original challenge/revenge. Not sure what you are missing/not seeing from the plenty of hints Chour has already given. But he allowed/asked me to give one not too obvious hint, I'm just not sure what should I hint about. So.. maybe just tell me folks, which question are you struggling with? Just remember not to spoil anything.
EDIT: also remember this is not an invitation to openly share hints :3 It's just because to certain extent his stuff is based on mine.

Okay not many people answered.. I was hoping to give some hints about the Big Hints quiz, becuase you really need to solve it. I don't know why there aren't more solvers to that one. It gives you insight (bit "zen" style i.e. not directly - guides you to the understanding) what to do with the main puzzle, and when solved, it gives you imho rather very clear big hints what to do.
Ah well. So I'll do general hint on something you may be missing: my walls of text / solutions are useful. Note the plural.
And geezas follow all the hints that Chour gave you and go solve Big Hints quiz..

Almost done with the "Big Hints" quiz. I'm looking at the original puzzle just now, I don't want miss anything and getting that URL took me 10 minutes only.

Wanted to give it one last push, but when I finally had a chance there was only 1 hour to go and with Q2-4 still without answer I decided to give up. That said, thank you for this puzzle.

Thanks for the puzzle! I wish there were more solvers...
I actually liked the Big Hints part the most I think hehe it was key to solving everything. It taught me, zen style, what I should be looking for. Confirmed that you most likely changed the underlying alphabet of the alpha function, and it was not a huge leap at least for me to realize you have used for that the the two strings I supplied at the end of my very first puzzle. Now that the seeds came from there too was much harder to get, though solution to the big hints is a huge help with that. I also understood while doing it, that the q1 and q2 of main quiz are asking for the two shifts, though solution made that explicit.
Q1 was impossibru without hints, with hints it became easier than Q2, on which I ended up bruting the devil. But actually the first number I tried worked. OK not the first, the first was "6" as I thought 666 but it was too huge, but after I decided to do a countdown instead of up, 15 was right there.
Also thank you very much for the gift!

Indeed to few solvers, it's too bad not more people get to enjoy the awesomeness that these kinds of puzzles are. But well, it is kind of nice to be among the few who actually do =)
I too really liked the Big Hints part, before that I was pretty much lost trying fruitless theories. Without it I probably would never have gotten what kind of answers you wanted for Q1 and Q2. But I kept thinking knights was 13 and not 12 (excluding King Arthur himself I presume) and getting the kings wrong as well. But otherwise Q1 got pretty clear with the clue about sources (but impossibru before).
Also I had forgot about those two strings and kept trying a simple reversed one, silly me. But the clues from solving big hints made me remember to look deeper.
In the end Kali and the Devil worked together to throw me of the scent for Q2, but congrats to Award for getting it!
Thank you very much for the puzzle and the games chour! It was frustrating but I loved it.

Well, Award won Assassin Creed 2, Nfreak won Thief Collection, and I won Macbeth, as I read the full text, not bad.

I read Macbeth in school actually as it was required, but detail like 8 kings.. Something like that totally escaped me. I have bad memory for details in books or movies (or I just care about them much), I do read books, just pretty much for the moment - and forget the details, even author name, title or main character's name. What can I say. I do remember the part with 3 witches, but not the actual prophecy verbatim. Some web searches though showed exactly what I needed.
Macbeth good stuff, though. Good stuff.

Heh, nice one. Guess I got stuck on the "positive" and "negative" stuff in the Big Hint. Well, that isn't so bad- the only one of those books for main quiz, that I have even the slightest idea of what actually happens in, is Snow White so I wouldn't have ever figured them out anyway. ^_^
Thank you for the puzzle and sorry I couldn't solve it. :D

Solution below!
I derped (closed original post). Sorry, guys. You can find old thread HERE for additional info if you want to.
Afraid of wall of text? Don't worry. Just skip to Big hints below under 'hints' section. You will finally be able to solve it. I guarantee!
Foreword.
This puzzle is a tribute to this brilliant puzzle made by Award. At first it was intended as both a revenge and a contribution. Sadly it never evolved into a contribution but stayed revenge instead (nobody solved it). But I am satisfied now so I beg you to solve this one! Please! It's just a little bit harder in one piece and a little bit easier in other pieces.
End of foreword.
Puzzle. ---------> No hints, answers, solutions or any kind of spoilers!
For your first seed to grow do not seek the help of either dwarfs, little indians or kings. Instead look for the courage of knights and the council of watching angels.
Your second seed will rot if planted on black Friday by black women in the name of Kali with the help of the Devil and his circles.
Tips.
Part 1.
Part 2.
End of tips
A quiz to help you.
It contains hints which should be available in 2 days time. 1 solver is me :P
Timer!
Hints.
1). It should be easy(?) for those who solved Award puzzles.
2). I've divided TIPS into 2 parts for better understanding.
3). Q1 and Q2 of my quiz are for the 1st part of TIPS, Q3 and Q4 for the 2nd part.
4). If you get right answer to Q3 and don't know what to do - explore!
5). Answers to Q1 and Q2 can be input in only one possible way (one of the TIPS in Part 1 will tell you exactly how to do it).
6). General plan (but you figured it out already, didn't you?):
7). "Kings" from Q1 and "black women" from Q2 are from the same source.
Big hints!
8). If you have problems with Q10 of 'Big hints!' quiz - try this one.
9). Hints that appear on main quiz (I misconfigured the quiz. They should have been available for all after 48 hours) + my comments:
10). Macbeth, Hansel and Gretel, Snowhite, Roman de Brut, And Then There Were None
11). Q7,Q8,Q9 - maybe you haven't signed them?
12). Why do you think I really had to make a extra quiz for Q10 of 'Big hints'? It wasn't necessary in the original post!
End of hints.
Presents (it was my birthday on the 10th!) - finished
Mount&Blade:Warband
Bastion
End of presents
Solution
The puzzle went through some evolution. Initially I thought people who solved Award's puzzle and saw my attempt at a puzzle there at "Civilization 5" giveaway would grasp the idea right away.
I was wrong!
So I made 'Big hints' to guide them along.
All right. The solution itself.
Quizes are not case-sensitive so "A" and "a" will be accepted.
First Big hints:
Really nice hints after that. See for yourself!
Some comments:
Q7,Q8,Q9 should have given you the idea how to solve Q1 and Q2 of the main puzzle. When you saw something negative (either "not" or negative meaning word, e.g. "rot") you should have used "-", for "positives" "+".
Q10 answer - is the code of the actual forum post of the puzzle. Since I derped and had to make another post - the answer was harder to find, so I made another quiz to make it easier.
Now you see. I really tried to train you for my main quiz:
MAIN QUIZ:
Now comments:
Q1: The hardest in my opinion part. Until I posted the hint about "sources". Then it became the easiest.
So they were a little too obscure "literary" references.
You could say it was impossible. But if you tried to google, say, "fourteen angels" you'll get the answer right away. Yep. It's guesswork. Not good. Thus hint about sources.
Q2: Refers to devilry, witchcraft, black magic etc. They all "help to rot", so they are all "negative":
Q3. That's a forum(!) code you encountered if you solved some extra puzzles in Award's big puzzle. You open the picture as an archive and there was a "message.txt".
The code was right there before your eyes. When given enough attention to the actual solution written there you'll encounter two lines:
4WES0M3PUZLG1VAYNOH8KTXBIRCJDFQ25769
and
0ABCDEF12GHIJO3PQRSTUVXYZ4567W8KLMN9
They are alphabet strings containing exactly 36 characters as in the "original" alpha function.
These lines were the core of my puzzle.
Using seeds from Q4, alphabets from Q3 and shifts from Q1 and Q2 you'll end up with 4 codes.
The quiz result message will give you format.
