I find it perplexing that people still find it necessary to criticise others who give things away for no reason other than generosity.

Especially people with little to no history of giveaways.

If you and I were the only people left in the world, then you would be the only one who find this annoying.

statistically, no. you are not the only one, never. but hey, we all have those little things that annoy us, and we try to find a way to explain why they bother us.

Big point giveaways lasting 4 weeks are generally used as a point bank. People will come back before its over and withdraw their entry to get the points back.

I don't see what appreciation has to do with giveaway length. Believe me, your life improves as you let go of complaining about irrelevant things like this.
