What are some indie games you don't have yet, but really want?
Haha can I have 2 Euros instead, because I would like different currency to look at besides this samey american money :(
I always feel excited when I stumble on different currency. Yesterday, I found a coin from the Bahamas! ^_^

It was in the pennies section of the cash drawer at work, so I exchanged it from one of my pennies ^_^
They do look snazy ;)

I don't do many give-aways but will once I get a better job. Regardless, you have been whitelisted!

ooooOOOooo those are on my wishlist too! I really want S&S. There's also Stranger of Sword City you might want to look into (if you haven't yet) :)

Like both, but Salt has a really annoyingly pitched boss which makes me never want to play it again.

aaaannnnd whitelisted. Will have more and better giveaways once I land a better job :D

Hey! That isn't 2 cents! ><
I have some of those around my house ^^

Well Devolver publishes the best games, my vote would go to Enter the Gungeon
Comment has been collapsed.
I LOVE Devolver. Even their smaller games are a blast, like Downwell and Lufthrasirs(probably spelled wrong)

I'm really looking forward to Kingdom Come: Deliverance

That....looks pretty 0.o
For consoles too. Pretty neat!

Glad you think so! XD
If you haven't played any of the Phoenix Wright games yet, you totally should ;)

Oh boo, I am sorry. Maybe try for an emulator? If you have an IOS device, I believe they are on that as well if you drop a few dollars :)
My older sister got it for me for my 17th some 5 years ago and I thought she was bonkers, until I played it and became obsessed ^_^;
Edit: My "oh boo" is actually feeling bad, not me trying to be a butthead haha

You may not have a DS, but you have the ability to be whitelisted, which I have taken advantage of. More and better giveaways once I land a better job ^_^

Hyper Light Drifter is the one I want to play the most: a world to explore full of mysteries, nervous and precise controls, light story telling mostly through gameplay. Moreover a two players mode have been included and I love to play in couple.
Many other great indies are on my list: The Witness, Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight, Chronicles of Teddy, Enter the Gungeon...
And more awesomeness is to come: Rain World, EITR, Katana ZERO, Children of Morta...
Comment has been collapsed.
I am enjoying what I have played of HLD so far, so I do hope you can get your hands on it sometime ^_^
You might want to look into Kologeon because that seems to be the route they will be taking too from what they have said. It is on Kickstarter (fully funded already) or Steam Greenlight (already Greenlit).

I haven't heard of some that you listed but I will definitely give them a look-see ^_^

I just added Katana ZERO, Rain World, and Children of Morta to my wishlist. Now I gotta rearrange the WL later, gee thanks hahaha ;p

whelp, when the time is good and I have a good job to offer better giveaways, you can partake. Whitelisted!

Side question, can anyone tell me why when I try to use an underscore, it sometimes doesn't show up in the comment?
Like for ^_^

sigh now I have to rearrange my wishlist again because I just added Halcyon 6 and NeuroVoider to it haha. Good choices! I hope these all get more light shed on them ^_^

Some good choices, so whitelisted! Will do more and better giveaways once I land a better job.

Voted for Hyper Light Drifter, this one is already on my wishlist :)
As far as other indie games go, I'm really into the RPGMaker games lately. Played several really good ones such as City of Chains, Attonement or Waste Walkers :) The Deed was awesome too, going to play The Deed: Dynasty one of these days.
Comment has been collapsed.
Sweet, thanks for the input! I don't know why, but I have tended to stay away from RPGMaker games. It might be due to the lazy ones I have seen, but seeing your like for them has changed me though, and I shall definitely look at the ones you listed. Thanks a bunches!!
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh I know, some of the RPGMaker games used to be pretty bad. They seem to be constantly getting better and better, as far as I can tell :)

Aw indeed, Lisa has been on my wishlist for such a long time now! Just didn't get to buying it yet O.o

Whitelisted. Better and more giveaways coming once a better job I have (mess of a sentence in Yoda-speak)

Pre-order Enter The Gungeon and sunk over 200 hours into that game. I've been raving about the game so much at this point, so I'm just repeating myself, but this game really made me feel like a child again. Videogames are more of a timekiller for me these days, rather than a passion like when I was young, but Gungeon made me feel excited and happy again, like I just discovered videogames for the first time.
Bought Hyper Light Drifter during the Summer Sale and finished it since then... I wrote a lot about it, so I'll just link that.

Sheesh, I should get the habit of reading threads in their entirety... So, yeah, I own them already and left my two cents on those... Uh, yeah...
Comment has been collapsed.
I have felt the same about games lately too. No Man's Sky invigorated my gaming passion again and Crawl made me have actual fun again. I am glad you like Gungeon as much as you do as liked your thoughts on HLD :)
To your edit, it is ok :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Haha that would be the right answer! If you get the second Half Minute Hero, it comes with the first. Pretty decent fun :)
I am the same way. Don't get me wrong, I do look forward to Deus Ex Mankind Divided, and others coming out and I love me some Borderlands and Mordor, but I am less disappointing and more surprised by the quality (and sometimes innovation) of indies <3
Makes me sad when people dis on indies without trying them because they "look like garbage" :'(
Comment has been collapsed.
I own the first HMH already which is why its sequel is the lowest priority to me -> still need to play/try the first one ^^
Oh hell yea, I loved Borderlands and my Pokémon games.. And sure, the quality of those games is remarkably.
But the indies are the ones that touch me, surprise me, that I fell in love with its design or soundtrack.. Last big surprise was Pony Island, you should get & play it if you haven't already (:
Comment has been collapsed.
Ah, then yeah it makes sense :p
SoulSilver is my favorite so far and I own most but the remakes of Ruby, the newest Mystery Dungeon, and that Coquest one (which I want). Exactly, indies surprise more and just make me feel good inside ^_^
Hehe thanks for the suggestion but I already beat Pony Island. I didn't get that other ending, I had great fun though!
Currently I am into Crawl, Crypt of the NecroDancer, Stardew Valley, and the Quell puzzle games :)

Your opinions are wonderful. Once I have a better job, I will host better and more giveaways. Whitelisted!

Get Va11 Hall-a direct from the website, keep the DRM version for yourself and use the spare key in a giveaway?
Comment has been collapsed.
I saw someone did that recently actually (search it up if the game interests you because the giveaway is still live) and I figured I would do something similar. While I will give away games I have no interest in on here, I also want to use it to spread word of games I like and see if I can expose some people to them ^_^
Comment has been collapsed.
I've already 100%'d Va-11 Hall-a, and I can assure you it's worth getting and spreading the word about. I was planning to do a similar giveaway once I have the budget for it.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for the assurance! I am dying inside wanting to own it as soon as a paycheck allows D:
Good games need more exposure and it is a shame industry giants that dwell in stagnation overshadow great little titles...

heard a lot of good things about Enter the Gungeon and Salt & Sanctuary, but havent tried any of them just yet :P

I own Gungeon on PC and Ps4. It is good, not as hectic as I hoped but still real fun. Haven't played S&S yet, but will eventually :D

Me too haha!
I hope you will enjoy it when you get it!!!!! ^_^

Dungeon Souls is pretty fun. I'm looking to Hyper Light Drifter since release, maybe in the next sale.

bumps
Gungeon is terrific but as I've posted in another thread I was kinda burnt out by it. Still, the fact that I own it means that my vote was on Hyper Light Drifter for this one. I saw that a few times and the art looks AMAZING
As for a personal recommendation, what about another vote for the recently-released Anarcute? That game is freaking kawaii AF :D
and a few more - Crashlands
10 Second Ninja X
Human: Fall Flat
and lastly a bit of a shameless plug but I and a friend curate titles that we like, there's a variety of new stuff and old stuff in there, but the newer curations are mostly mine and more indie-focused :)
Comment has been collapsed.
You are my next to last whitelisted user. Thanks for your extended input!
Anarcute is added to my wishlist!

Oooo I see one of the ones listed was in a bundle recently. I hope you were able to get it! :D

Out of the ones in the poll, definitely Enter the Gungeon. I've been interested in that game before it even released on steam. Half Minute Hero 2 looks interesting, I still haven't really gotten to play the first one because the keyboard controls were so horrid I immediately shut it down and never touched it again.
Here are some more:
Secrets of Grindea
Vagante
Grim Dawn
Rocket League
Voidspire Tactics
Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics < This one is not yet released and I don't know a lot about it, but I liked One Way Heroics so I'd probably like this one too
Comment has been collapsed.
Good list. Some of those I have been watching, but haven't put on my wishlist yet (probably should) like Vagante. and yeah, both still have horrid controls that are not re-bindable if I remember correctly. I use a controller for that though ;p

That's my 50 cents

I am just curious to see what all people are interested in as far as indie games go. Feel free to comment or fiddle with the poll. Commentrs do not need to be choices from the poll, so have at it! There are a few I know people want, and a few I tossed in to give them exposure ;p
For myself, there is quite a few I am wanting to get my hands on:
Va-11 Hall-A
Aviary Attorney
Eitr
Kologeon (seriously give this a look, I just helped kickstart it)
Rivals of Aether
plus many more ^_^;
Special Shout-Out to Crawl and Crypt of the NecroDancer. Please check them both out!
No actual currency exchange will be happening here
Batteries not included
Don't forget to wishlist ones that interest you!
