I know that cheap HiB bundles were discussed numerous times, as it is obviously impossible to sell 6 dollars bundle for less and stay in black numbers. Anyway there are sellers selling various other bundles like current Indiegala Codemasters for 1 key.

So there goes my question, is it also fishy like HiB resellers or is it actually possible for them to get these bundles for less than a price of TF key (with all those discounts for multi buy and happy hours)? Therefore are they safe to buy or not (since they removed the cc payment option this seems like my only chance to get it)?

I think perhaps they could be legit because of their happy hour promo.

You can buy 4 bundles for less than $8 during happy hours.

there have been mutiple incidents where bundles where purchased with fraudulent means. result: users who traded for them had them removed from their bundle accounts and their steam libraries.

If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

you are right that the IG Happy Hour enables traders to get multiple copies cheap. you could visit the groupbuy steam group and check if the traders there have some remaining IG bundles - they were 1 TF2 key + 1 Ref - source

even if some other trader may have it cheaper, at least the groupbuy admins/mods are trustworthy.

It's 1ref more, so we can assume that 1key traders with decent amount of trades are safe over on steamtrades site? The worst result is removal of said games or are there any further VAC etc. problems?

yeah, I guess you can assume that those traders are legit, but I just told you how to be 100% safe :P
and we're still talking about IG bundles, where such a price is at least plausible, right?
because there were a shipload of scammers with HIB bundles, selling bundles for way less than they bought it for - which resulted in a lot of unhappy customers about 1 month later, when the games were revoked.

and yes, worst case scenario:

  • you lose what you traded
  • you have the games removed from your bundle account
  • you have the games removed from Steam

your Steam account will neither be banned (they don't do bans anymore, they only "lock") and you won't be VAC banned either.

Yep we're talking about IG, specifically the Codemasters bundle with Flashpoints. Checked the link with Steam group you've gave me, guess they've already split bought it. So I would have to post request here and hope that some admin of the group has some leftovers, as any other user there would be just as "trustworthy" as any other seller on steamtrades.

By the way lock of the account doesn't look any better than good old ban.

There was an event where all the bundles were also -50% , and that was during the happy hour too i believe.
