If you're interested in web design and usablity, I recommend checking out the book Don't Make Me Think!
It's a must-read for any beginning webdesigner and approaches a bunch of common issues in a very practical and common sense way.

As (some) people know, I am (or want to be) a webdesigner. My question is: What is the most beautiful and "easiest to understand" website? For example, Reddit is a good example for a website which isn't "easy to understand".
If I want to make a website, how does it needs to look like? (Genre: FPS Game)
Edit: This is the most beautiful website I know.
