Shouldn't "The Legend of Dragoon" get a sequel? Hell, even just a remaster?

Yeah, both.
Nah, neither.
Yeah, a sequel would be dope.
Yeah, a remaster would be sweet.
Potatoes can be sweet and savory.
What??

I used to be really into JRPGs; I started on the NES, and abandoned them somewhere around the PS2, because they just up and changed the genre into something I couldn't get into. Legend of Dragoon is the first walkthrough I ever wrote, which got me into video game writing, which I'm still doing on and off. My favorite of all time is Live-A-Live on the SNES, but if you want to hear about tons of RPGs you might not know, here's a lengthy miniseries: http://www.gamingsymmetry.com/an-introduction-to-jrpgs/ I wrote this whole thing about 7 years ago, so not all of my views are the same now, but you might hear about something new that you might enjoy here; every JRPG that I'd ever finished at the time I wrote this (and more) is here. In that spirit, I'd also like to add that the Wild Arms series is awesome; it's like someone took the plot of a Contra game, threw in some cowboys, and made it a JRPG. Wild Arms 2 has one of the most completely insane and idiotic plans to kill an evil big-bad in the history of ever (and yes, I've played Barkley: Shut-up and Jam Gaiden), and I LOVE it.

I'm into most genre of game, as in I play anything and everything I can get my hands on and have the time for. My main genres of choice are mostly RPG, Shooters, and Platformers though folks are really trying to get me into Fighting games. I've dabbled a lot with MOBAs as well and have since fallen out of them due to the toxicity they bring to the table. 4 years of League of Legends was enough.

I really like the Link-esque design of The Hero.

I loved/hated the last boss when I played it on PS1, although that too was definetly "inspired" design.

Gust of Wind... DANCE!!!

Goddamned tempo difference between Lavitz and Albert after spending time getting used to Lavitz's.

They did my boy Lavitz dirty. Homeboy loves his mom and they did what they did.

I really like RPGs but I never had heard of the legend of dragon. So I’m not sure if I should vote for potatoes or β€œwhat?”...

Google it and see what you think. I'd recommend emulating it as it's such a solid game.

I'd settle for a remaster.
It hasnt got the name like the Final Fantasy games. But I remember playing it at the time on the PSX (still have the discs) and enjoyed it more than Final Fantasy 8 which was released that same year. (Both are awesome games imo).

Not gonna happen I'm afraid. Would be an nobrain instabuy when a sequel or remaster was released. Heck, I'd even buy it at once when the old version would hit the steam store.
I've been playing LoD with an emulator on pc, works like a charm, have completed it 2 times. once on psx, and a few years back on pc.

WHIP SMACK!

Agreed on the easy buy. I know damn well people would eat up a remaster on PC but I fear that's never to be. :c

Love a good RPG but I just don't have the time to sink into them anymore. One day...when I have more spare time...I will get properly in to one again instead of starting it, playing a couple of hours and letting it sit on my pc until I finally replace it with something quicker to play.
