Some of my favorite films are Eraserhead, Natural Born Killers, and A Clockwork Orange. Clockwork was removed from Britain after copycat crimes were alleged, Natural Born Killers was said to be the inspiration for several shooting including Columbine, and Eraserhead was one of the first of the new wave of cult films.

Week late, sry. What's really weird is that there's subcultures in England/Britain now that are very similar to what was depicted in ACO. Ultraviolence for the sake of it, etc.

Yeah, I've heard of that too. It's odd how some films seem to come true 30 or 50 years after they're made. It really shows an artist's ability to recognize trends in society.

The Sims games. (Controversial b/c EA makes them.)
My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic. (Controversial because of all the people who hate it.)
The pre-Daniel Craig Bond movies. (Because I grew up watching the Connery/Moore/Brosnan ones, and don't think "James Blond" fits the same image as the past Bonds.)
Progressive rock music. (Most critics and the mainstream tend to thumb their nose at this genre for being too "pretentious"...)
On the flip side of things, I tend to really HATE Beyonce, which people would also consider controversial.

The Star Wars Pre-Sequels.
I really like them. Maybe not so much the first one, but 2 and 3 are awesome.

Hmmm. Probably the book called "Derrota Mundial" which is basically the Story before and just after the WW2, from a "neutral" leaning to a nazi oriented point of view. Regardless, its probably the best detailed and informative History book that i have read in my life.
And well, many other books by an author called nicknamed "RIUS" (both writers mexicans). Rius's books are very informative, and at the same time, entertaining. Most of his books are against religion, or talk about "politics" (we have thieves, i know everyone has, but not like here, trust me on that) in a very comical way. The thing about Rius is that his books look more like B/W comics, since the story is narrated by actual drawed characters. So criticizing or making a joke about something/some one is way more hilarious with visual aid. a random page from a random book.
Make no mistake. All of Rius books have not just his opinion, but actual research on the topics, so he is very serious.

What are some things that have garnered up controversy, such as a certain movie or book, that you really love. Or maybe a video game is "too violent" yet you play it everyday.
For me, I think it would be the movie Django Unchained.
