I'm pretty sure it counts as a referral. Referrals are not allowed on SG - you better remove it or you risk suspension probably.

Luckily its made by some dummy who doesn't understand math/statistics. So this guy is actually hurting his odds by posting a referral link. He gains 1 entry point extra per person he adds BUT that person gets 14 entry points for doing all the steps. Yeah his odds are better than any one person but as a whole the more that join the less his odds are at winning. I never bother with referrals on these things because it would hurt my odds. There is no incentive. (except for dumb people who cant do the math)
