7 Days to Die is just epic. I highly recommend that game. If you want to loot nude people however, I say Rust...

Both of them are pretty buggy, I played both, 7D2D in its earlier stage, its alright, sort of like minecraft with a high definition texture pack on. Rust is also pretty alright, put a few hours into it.

Depends what you'd rather do, survive or build?

I got over 50 hours in rust so I'm gonna say Rust.

I have both games and I have to say Rust sucks. It is so awful. Sure it is early access, but so is 7D2D. And I have to say, 7D2D actually gave me a ton of fun.

Both are unfinished, buggy messes that are still being worked on. Save your money, buy some finished games (for much cheaper as well) and wait until these games come out of Early Access.

I see no reason to pay the price they are asking for these games in their current state, and the same goes for DayZ.

it is necessary that these two games have teamed up to develop their well merged into one, and that's when Dayz lose =)

Alone : Rust

Rust for sure. I played both games and I prefer Rust. I play Rust with a group of 4/5 people and it is fun as hell.

I don't know 7 days to die, but I had some fun with Rust (34 hours).
But to be honest, I really think nothing can beat DayZ standalone. The progress in alpha may be a bit to slow for some, but I love it anyway. So many epic memories I never experienced in any other game...

...ambushs, town raids, epic standoffs, close combat carnages, heavy long range fights, shooting your friend in a battle because you thought it would be the enemy, almost dieing searching for medicine having been force fed rotten fruits, force feeding rotten fruits to poor souls, being a nice guy to new players and making the game a bit better for them, getting punched to death by a guy with a 12 years old voice...

...and the EPIC QUEST to get the best looking character of them all!

Back to topic, I suggest you watch some let's plays for every one of them and decide then.
