Dem market restrictions

Do you miss old market, where you could buy something and sell after one minute? Because I do, I mean it sucks so bad, what is that even for? Is valve afraid of some hackers that will sell my cards or 0,03 cent cs:go items?
I don't know, I did read all FAQ on steam and still cannot understand this.
P.S. If I buy csgo case now on market and open it, will the item be marketable?

of course not.
If you use something locked to craft an item, your crafted item will be locked.

Seems legit, when new case comes there will be almost nothing from it on market then :D

I think you CAN sell the item, but you CAN'T trade it.

I think it's not. If you buy a pack of cards and open, they are not maketable for a week, probably the same with cases now. Last time I opened a case it was before that update so I'm not sure anyway.

Yeah, but mostly when you open case you buy case from market, if you want special one to be open. But if you don't mind you can just wait until case drops for you.

if the case dropped, the item will be tradable/marketable. if it's bought from the market, you'll have to wait 1 week.

That's what I thought, but didn't got any clue about market ones, now it seems like obvious it will not be tradable when case is bought.

yeah, I can't even sale summer cards, because they will be tradable after they disappear from my inventory :P

what is that for? steam have been losing money because of trading and market, new restrictions prevents it... I rather would like them to start preventing cheaters and scammers than carring so much about my money :(

btw. I hate region restrictions for game, I almost stopped buying since it's not worth in my country (euro is too expensive).

You can trade and sell drops instantly, what gets locked are the things that you buy, trade or get from leveling up your steam level.
And maybe your inventory is full of crap but people that do have valued items can get them back when they get hacked and they appreciate it.
