ace combat assault horizon - worth it?

Well, I played it with a friend, liked the game, better than hawx in my opinion

COD like? Not even in single player. They might have dumb down the combat since they made dogfights easier with the focused zoom feature. But it is still challenging.

For 5$, totally worth it, just make sure you have a decent Rig. It is also much more cpu bound than gpu.

i am not sure if you download and buy it unlocks it? or if you have to re-download it as i never did that

I like this type of games and I think it's good. Both hawx and hawx 2 were worse. The story is better although it's all-american. Gameplay is good as well. It's definitely worth buying.

I'm not sure why or how it got the whole "it's like CoD" criticism. There are areas where you do zoomed in dogfights but it always feels like you're controlling a jet and never feels like a shooter.

Download the game and play it for the free weekend. If you enjoy it, buy it. Seems simple enough to me.
