Guess the Humble Monthly games that will be revealed this Friday.

I'll select those with most correct guesses and invite them to a group for a non-bundle (and non-monthly) giveaway.

  • One guess per user.
  • 6 games to guess, list 6 games in one comment. Do not include any early unlocks.
  • Depending on your score of ?/6, you'll get an invite.
  • Guessing will be over 10 minutes before the end of the monthly sale.

Developers on Humble seem to love to miss DLC, this month Deus Ex: Mankind Divided monthly version had less DLC than base game on the steam store (??).
I mean, I guess I could deal with base game, but I agree. Pure rip off.

Yeah, that's the gimmick. They give you the base game for cheap so they can sell you the DLC. Works the same way with PS+ freebies or Games for Gold on XBOX. I was just joking ;)

By the way Square fixed that later for Deus Ex: MD and added the missing DLC to the depot. Some people assume they were just trying to see if they could get away with it.

So I've heard, but still a very scummy tactic from them. They obviously made a specific version for the monthly to contain less DLC than the base game just to try and milk a few extra cents from their customers. I miss the old days when once you bought a game, you actually bought the full game. Nowadays, you pay $60 for the base which is only like 50% of the game, and if you want the rest that's another $60. Just ridiculous.

Well, if it had worked it wouldn't be just a few extra cents since AFAIK you can't buy those DLC seperately and have to rebuy the whole game. It's as if they despised people with OCD.

I miss the old days when once you bought a game, you actually bought the full game.

So do I but at least most Indie devs still operate that way.
