My GAs usually last 1 week, and this is also true for the GA in the title. There are three other GAs here that will last 4 more days, two that will last 6 more days, and two more that will last for another full day.

~6days on the main (titled) giveaway, but there are several others that only last 24-72hr.

To quote a previous post "It's fun to hide exclusive giveaways, it's fun to get them, and it would encourage people to try the script to be able to access such giveaways (later to find out how useful the rest of it is)."
Two more reasons are that it's an easy way to post giveaways accessible to humans but not to bots, and lastly that the population of users who use the script make for a high quality group of people :-)

Ah, okay. I kinda disagree with that "users who use the script make for a high quality group of people" though. Anyone can choose to get the script. It's an exclusive group, but not necessarily high quality. :P

Yes, in principle the decoding can be implemented into bots, but for someone to bother with it you need a lot more such GAs. I doubt we're getting there any time soon. And if we do, it's trivial to update algorithm a bit (or use a different key) and force bots creators to update to. If we ever get there, it would be a sign that this feature is a huge success :-)

It's easy, i guess you already have ESGST script installed right? You also have to enable this option:
4. Commenting ---> Comment Formatting Helper ---> Exclusive Giveaways.
- Now, just create an invite-only giveaway as usual.
- Copy only the 5-digit-code from the address bar (eg. 7pLJ5)
- In any text box like this one, click the rightmost button: [★]
- Paste the 5-digit-code and then add. (You'll get a translated text like
[](ESGST-37-63-59-57-35)) - Submit the comment, your star is created automatically.

If you're using ESGST script, just update to the latest version, then click the star icon below. If you don't, what are you waiting for? It makes using this site much more enjoyable. Highly recommended, as is Her Story (my short review is here).
Edit: More GAs added. If you have the script installed you can click the star button at the top to get a list of all GAs, or just browse the comments below to see the ones with GAs (marked with star links at the bottom of each comment).
