I don't have game suggestions because I don't play anything while listening, but I'll recommend the RT Podcast :>

I haven't played Audiosurf with a Podcast, but it's definitely an interesting way to listen to music. According to this forum, it works...
Audio-surf forum It sounds like it would need to be broken into 30min to maybe 60 min chunks, which can be easily done with free online mp3 trimmer/editors

I always play FaeVerse Alchemy while listening to stuff.
I also used to play Faerie Solitaire, solitaire is always nice imo :)

I wouldn't have bought it myself either but luckily I did win it on here. Hopefully you'll get another chance to win it soon! :)

Lyne or Kami would be my suggestions
both little puzzle games wich you can do while listening to smth
Edit: Mechanic Escape or IBomber Pacific should both work too and were free at some point iirc

+1 for this suggestion. I've played both of these that way. A lot of minimal puzzle games would be good for this sort of thing. Chip and Strata also fit into that category (I have some complaints with Strata, but a lot of folks liked it better than me).

Something mindless or relaxing. I found myself listening to podcasts while playing Diablo 3's Adventure mode, although I assume you'd want to pay more attention to audiobooks as opposed to treating them like background noise so it might not be the best choice. Up to you.

Yes! This is the thread I was looking for! Let me introduce you to amazing world of
Recently I started listening to audiobooks during driving my Volvo and this was very good idea. Long story short, this game is very calming for me, and listening to some good books take my chill to another level.
And maybe Drive Any Track. I don't own it (yet) but I played it at my dudes laptop and it's very fun game. Somethin like Audiosurf and Beat Hazard.

Oh yeah totally. I myself still don't own Scandinavia (price is my problem :P) but I don't feel like I'm loosing anything. I own the game with Going East Expansion and map is huge enough to keep me busy. The cool thing is that devs are still working on the game, making improvements (for example in newest patch, currently in beta, they added an option to mark your own route on GPS) sometimes even expanding the map (some time ago they added Venice, recently they added Hungary with two or three cities). Recently I got myslef hooked on the game again, and in short time I spend in game around 40 hours, driving around and listening to some Stephen King books. The next cool thing than can help someone to keep playing is managing your own transport company, buying garages, trucks, hiring drivers. Thanks to that you can multiple your earnings and buy more cool stuff like cars and upgrade them if you like.
Last, but not least, there is a huge community that made hundreds of mods (game have build in mod management screen). I myslef don't use them but it's because I like my games vanilla ;) There are even mods that adds new maps (for example Spain or Russia) so if you will decide to install them you won't be thinking about missing Scandinavia DLC :)

Spelunky works best for me but you need to hit a certain comfort level with it before you can play while listening to podcasts

Mini Metro is my current go-to for this. It's addictive and I'm loving it. It has audio now (a recent development) but honestly I think I prefer it without.

The History of Rome podcast by Mike Duncan is entirely responsible for my interest in podcasts and continued listening of them to this day.

So I just recently got into listening to podcasts and discovered I love them, so podcast suggestions would be great too!
But I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions of games to play while listening to them. Recently I won Strata here and ended up 100%ing it while listening. I'm looking for other mindless games, any suggestions? <3
