Guys, PLEASE check your giveaway winners for unactivated wins before delivering your gifts

You can use sgtools

I have stumbled upon this so many times, especially on public low level giveaways.

The number of people that don't activate their wins is staggering.

If you find your winner didn't activate previous wins (especially recent ones) - report them to steamgifts and ask for a re-roll.

I used to do it every time, but I don't anymore. I just avoid making low level GAs or public GAs in general. I really think the responsibility for enforcing the rules should be finally moved from us, the users, to the admins. It should be pretty easy to automatize the process and just monitor the won GAs and autoban the people who don't follow the rules.

Does it include non accepted gifts? I've won 2 games a few months ago and I'm still waiting for a reroll, would this flag sgtools?

As long as you didn't mark them as received but feedback is still pending it won't.
So you're good ;)

Probably a stupid question:

I have a winner with non-activated wins. The last one was less than a month ago and I'm asking for a re-roll.
Should I additionally report the user? Or is this redundant and the user will be punished (if necessary) as a result of the re-roll?

Reroll ticket is enough.

in general reroll is even better option here ;) there are much less reroll tickets than report tickets plus also reroll tickets has the highest priority ;) and if staff reroll your GA for non-activated wins they will also suspend a user in the process ;p

Didn't know about the different priorities, thanks!

Also I think User Reports aren't handled by regular moderators...

not by Support members, but by moderators - yes ;p my User reports were so far answered by 3 staff members (well 4, but one is now retired and no longer in staff) - Lina, which is supermod, but also by bobo and Lorkhan which are Moderators ;)

What if i got blacklisted by the giveaway owner for no given reason who did not reroll and have to wait 4 more days?

then you wait 4 days and mark as not received - I see no problem here.

When I first came accross SGTools, and checked all my previous ~200 giveaways, a staggering 25% of winners had non-activated gifts. Some even regifted the very game I sent them >:(

Is there an easy way to do this if you have 60 giveaways all end simultaneously, or do you have to check each winner manually and individually?

As sad as it is, Level 5 is not high enough to weed out the cheaters. Too many opportunities to cheat CV (cough, Clickteam, cough)
