War of the Roses: Kingmaker update is out!

New Gamemode: Assault - Available on

  • St. Albans: Destroy the gate, capture the Smithy, storm the tower.
  • Bamburgh Castle: Capture the Bombard, raise the ladders/destroy the gate, pull the lever, storm the tower.
  • Clitheroe Forest: Destroy the gate, capture .
  • Wakefield: Push the cart, raise the ladders, pull the lever, push the cart, blow up the gate, capture the keep.

New Additions

  • Steam Big Picture and full controller use is now supported
  • Added 3 new custom profile slots

  • Steel Sword of the Veneration
  • English Two-Handed Sword
  • Schongauer Longsword

How come when I hit to see available DLC though it says war of the roses free demo, instead of war of the roses? This irks me

One of the worst patches ever when it comes to balancing.
Everyone just spamming arrows or their extremely fast 2hand swords / daggers.
Xbows got nerfed hard. Hammerheads are practically useless now. And headshots do only 99 damage to other archers, rofl.. So can't even counter sniper those anymore.
This was one of my favourite games lately, and i played it every day for the last weeks.

Thanks to this patch i probably won't anymore, but instead try Chivalry more :)
