That's right, that time of year is upon us! The time when the temperature starts to get cooler, kids get excited about a night of hoarding free candy, and adults prepare for costume parties where they will see who can dress the sluttiest. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜

Halloween is one of my very favorite holidays, and to celebrate I've prepared a train for SG that will run through midnight, All Hallow's Eve. There are -- currently -- 108 carts in the train representing 148 keys, so there are plenty of opportunities to spend your points! [There are supposed to be two more carts and four more keys, but a couple of games are missing from the SG list right now; I've put in requests to have them re-added, and will update the train with these GAs if that happens on time.] I've dug through my library of available keys and grabbed anything with jump scares, zombies, ghosts, witches, ax murderers, monsters, haunted houses, jack o' lanterns, or the like and brought them all together here to form this train.

This is a graduated train, meaning that different sections have different level requirements. The first section of the train (33 carts) only requires level 1+ to ride. The second section (50 carts) requires level 3+ to get on. And, the final section (25 carts) requires riders to be level 5+.

All right, prepare to spend your points and hop on board the HALLOWEEN TRAIN!!! ๐Ÿš‚๐Ÿšƒ๐Ÿšƒ๐Ÿšƒ๐Ÿšƒ๐Ÿšƒ๐Ÿšƒ

note: a couple of these keys are pretty old, and if they don't work, you agree to delete the GA without a fuss (otherwise, don't enter). They should work fine, and likely I'll replace it with a key for another game if it doesn't, but no pitching a fit -- I don't have time for that in my life. Thanks. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘Œ

UPDATE: Fixed all of the links...one...at...a...time. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ ๐Ÿ˜…

Also, because PeteOzzy is freaking AWESOME, the other two games I wanted to give have been added to the SG database already! So, I've added them after the caboose. If you've already ridden the entire train, you can jump to them here. Level 1+, removed games! Good luck!

UPDATE #2: Well, for those of you who take the time to read all of this and pay attention, I have a last-minute bonus GA for you! I grabbed an indiegala bundle the other day, and it had a Halloween-themed game in it, so I thought that it ought to be part of this event too!

What do you love most about Halloween?

View Results
Trick-or-treating
Handing out candy to kids (but only from my house, not in a creepy van or anything)
Stealing candy that my kids bring home
Dressing up as a favorite character
Carving Jack-o-Lanterns
Walking around the block drinking while the kids trick-or-treat and exclaiming "it's treat time for Daddy/Mommy too!"
Hiding in the house with the lights off so that I can be a party pooper and not participate [please blacklist me so that I can't win any of these scary Halloween games because clearly I don't deserve them]
Scaring the crap out of people

Happy Halloween and thanks for the ride :)

Happy Halloween, everybody!

I voted for dressing up in costumes, but really my favorite thing is having an excuse to watch all the horror movies I want. ^_^;

Walking around the block drinking while the kids trick-or-treat and exclaiming "it's treat time for Daddy/Mommy too!"

Do people actually do that?

I do. ๐Ÿ˜€

I carry an insulated, soft-sided cooler with a bunch of beer-snob beer in it, and I hand it out to adults that I know when we see each other in the neighborhood. People know that I do this now and specifically look for me. lol

The kids can take all of the time they want if I'm relaxing with a beer. ha ha ha ha

Hah! That's kind of awesome. You're taking care of the trick or treat part for adults. :)

I guess no one there worries about being in violation of open container laws?

Dude, I live in Texas. Land of the free, baby. :D

Now, if I were walking around downtown Houston with an open container, they'd haul me off. But my own neighborhood? Nah, that's all good. Cops around here usually spend their time catching actual criminals. If we by some stretch ended up with some stickler cruising the neighborhood and he had an issue with it, he'd probably just make us pour it out. But we've had a big neighborhood party to celebrate the neighborhood coming back from Hurricane Harvey out on the public parkland (bayou area, really pretty) right behind our houses...and we invited the police and the fire department, and they came to ensure safety (and we made sure that they got free food ๐Ÿ˜€) -- no issues with everyone walking around with a beer in their hand, so long as people were well-behaved.

That's kind of how we roll around here. We tend to take exception to over-reaching (and what we perceive as unnecessary) laws and mindless enforcement of them. ๐Ÿ˜
