Make giveaways! Some games (marked with a *) give you much less progress towards a level up, and other games (marked with a **) give you no progress at all, so avoid those!

Don't take it the wrong way, but in general, you should make a small effort to find the answer yourself before asking others to make an effort to answer you.
There is a search box in the left column of the "Discussions" page where you could have searched for "level up," which would have led you to a huge number of posts from people who asked the same question.
And there's a help Button (in the top bar) where you can also find this answer Help > FAQ & Guidelines (read those two !)
And nowadays, you can also ask that kind of questions to any AI (like chatGPT > How to level up on Steamgifts ?)
So don't be surprise by this kind of reaction.
No hard feelings though, you are not the first nor the last to ask this.

I don't understand people that are able to find the forum/discussions section of a website and make a post but aren't able to find the FAQ/rules. ._.

Giveaway games either through keys, links or gifts directly from Steam (be aware of regional restrictions), their value on Steamgifts dictates how much they can increase your level, if you see the game's name have a * that means it gives reduced value and ** gives no value at all.
I've found that fairly cheap steam games that have full value on SG can help you level up fast, so maybe trying giving away those first.
