Do you think that Yoda's quote deserves to be on our tableau?

I think the correct source would be named
"Frank Oz as Grand Jedi Master Yoda in George Lucas Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back"
or
"Grand Jedi Master Yoda played by Frank Oz in George Lucas Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back"

Hey fellow SteamGifters, and possible die-hard Star Wars fans,
Me and my class will soon graduate, and we just put together our tableau (I'm not sure if this is the right word for it, it's basically a wooden framed thing, which features the portrait of all students in the class, and their teachers), but we are in problem with the quote. We were thinking about Yoda's quote: "Do or do not. There is no try". Problem is: We can't put Yoda as the source of the quote, because our homeroom teacher forbid it. So who is behind the famous quote? George Lucas himself, Yoda's voice actor, one of the writers or a completely different person? Please help us :)
