I note that CG has preempted your scheme, in that, if this method is repeated by too many people, the giveaway becomes "empty", and the chances of winning are reduced to zero for all involved. I don't know if this is really a problem. I mean one shot in a thousand seems pretty good to me compared to all the BS giveaways on the net that have much lower odds than that but that's just me. Whatever is fair for everyone is in my opinion the best option.
