CS:GO plus Satellite Internet

It will be unplayable. Stick to turn based games like Civilization and Xcom.

I wouldn't recommend it on 700 ping, especially a precision game like CS:GO.
I would say you probably want under 300 or 400, and that's likely considered high by most people here
Unfortunately, I don't really know many ways to improve ping. Not sure how well software can fix it either since it's probably not on your end and options for faster internet packages are limited if you're not in a city.

The simple answer is no, you can't play CS:GO on 700 ping. You will not be able to see what's going on and will die without knowing what killed you. It will not work. And this is coming from someone who used to play but cannot anymore due to slow internet.

49 ping is even too high for me in CS:GO.

I usually have over 100 ping in multiplayer games and I lag. So, if I were in your shoes and had over 700 ping, I would just avoid playing multiplayer games. So, you should better avoid playing cs:go. And, about your question, if I would see a teammate having 700 ping, I would be like: "Why did you even launch cs:go?". So, I wouldn't hate you, but mostly likely not understand your intention to play cs:go.
