8,600 entered 27 won.
I honestly don't remember how many entries before my first win. I think it was pretty quick though. around 100 entries. Faerie Solitaire. Which is actually kind of fun.

I entered 5,887 and won 13.
It was the 213th giveaway I entered.

I think it was about 680 for my first win, then I didn't get another until about 2,300 entries.

I don't have a group :)
Most groups require you to be a certain level. So that means that you need to gift games also. And to keep a ratio of 2 gifts sent: 1 gift won. Some don't require that much but those groups will have many people in it meaning its harder to win.
Tbh, if you wanna just win. Keep entering giveaways and you will win eventually.

What? The obvious occurred? One of them had a higher win rate because he entered in lower quality games with a lower number of entrants?

When I was comparing, I seen he won a game from me xD Small world!

I'm curious to know, do you ever use ArchiBoT to help you enter giveaways, or is it strictly limited to creating/managing?

That's 51k in 4 years. I have never used a bot and I managed 35k in 2y 5m. I also don't always use all my points anymore because I am running out of games that I am interested in.
Over his entire time here he averaged 1058/month, I averaged 1204/month. I guess you also have to take into account the fact that the 1 1/2 years he was here before me there was a lot less giveaways available to enter.

The game was Galactic Arms Race. It was 3 years ago and under some rather unusual circumstances (a legal delay made it so the game wasn't viewable on the steam shop, but it was fully integrated and ready to play, so they wanted people to get the chance to try it); I'm not sure if that kind of thing happens anymore.

I only started winning once I passed 9,000 entries. Has to do with cg being a big DBZ fan or something.

I've won my first giveaway a bit past the 1,000 entries milestone.

Entered 492 won 3, but those 3 were at least 4,600 keys available. Have yet to win one of those 1 key giveaways.

I have no idea how many giveaways before my first win.
Currently 12,719 entered and 24 won ^.^
Edit: From a quick search/calculation I won my first giveaway at about 350 entries. I got lucky because I finished a puzzle (created by Zelgh) and there were only 4 other entries, so 20% chance for me to win :D

13422 entries.
220 wins.
I have no idea how long it took me to win one. Not very long, though, I won one shortly after I joined, because a dev was giving away 434 copies of Sins of the Demon RPG. It was a magical feeling.

22465 entries (thanks for making all those bundle dear bundle site :p)/ 52 won
my first won was around 1300 - 1350 entries i think then after a bit of time on steamgift, youll join some great group, some nice people whitelist you, and your probability of winning rise a bit due to less people entering the giveaway youd also want to win :D

I entered a little over 100 before I won my first. Now, I've entered 6,210 total and won 224.
In terms of CV, about 5% of that is from public GAs, 10% from private GAs from the forums, and 85% from groups.
Nowadays it's extremely rare I'll enter something with more then 300 entries (per copy).
All that said, and I know it sounds ridiculously cliched, but if you're only focused on winning you're not getting the most out of the site. Being active in the forum community is great! Winning games through interesting forum events (or even simple ones, for that matter) is much more fun than randomly winning public GAs. Planning your own GA events and seeing people get involved and excited, even if it's something relatively simple, is much more rewarding than giving them out to the faceless masses in the public GA section.
